Over 17 Million Ghanaians are voting today to elect a new president. Voting started as early as 7.00am and will end by 5.00pm.

The highly contested election is between the current president, Akuffo Ado of the New Patriotic party (Npp) and John Mahama of the National Democratic party (Ndc). The Ndc party was founded by late Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings.
