Commercial operations started on the new #LagosIbadanRail line this morning, Monday Dec 7, 2020. For now, according to the NRC, only one return trip daily, leaving Ibadan at 8am for Lagos and leaving Lagos for Ibadan at 4pm. https://mobile.twitter.com/toluogunlesi/status/1335865279889485825 28 Likes 2 Shares

5000 naira to get to ibadan when it's 700 and I'll get a good bus. They should complete Lagos rail project within the state, that has more commercial value than this over bloated project that is not necessary. I heard it would link to Kano and then Niger republic. So that more herdsmen can move to the south west. please do intra Lagos rail line linking alalimosho to agege and then Victoria island and lekki with other parts of the state Lagos traffic is killing 70 Likes 7 Shares |

So some stubborn people still pay this 3k? Naija, we can never come in unison to fight for a just course. I was hoping the passengers will protest this ignoble hike of rail transport fare which is suppose to be the cheapest. I know the govt will do little or nothing to the passengers when they get to know about their grievances but at least they will surely reduce something from that amount. We shouldn't be subservient to this administration at all, it's becoming too much and embarrassing. 9 Likes 1 Share |
