morgstreme: I'm not taking sides, never! Just condemning the condemnable. Nothing justifies that kind of violence against ones wife or husband. A man or woman capable of doing this to a mate is a danger to live with. My gut feeling is that the woman is probably violent tongued, but no married person goes to jail for running thier mouth. We need to learn when to call it quite before we ruin our lives and that of others. Irrespective of who the guilty party is, he's the monster now before the eyes of the law, the public, and his own Children. |

clarocuzioo:Personally am not a social media person. I don’t take my issues there. However, we’ve all seen the power of social media when people unite towards a good course. If a woman decides to look for help on social media, can I judge her? Absolutely not. I haven’t walked in her shoes. I don’t know what she’s been through physically or mentally.Whether he loses his job or not, I honestly have no sympathy because choices have consequences. She’s a Dr and can be just fine on her own. |

dotedote: It's in his best interest and that of the wife and children. The next thing he will do is to kill the woman and maybe himself. For the sake of himself, the woman and the children, they should never be together again until perhaps they can resolve thier differences if at all possible. But infidelity matter whether true or suspected is hardly ever resolved. |

When a married woman with four kids sees the social media as an avenue to communicate the ill-treatment she got from her husband because the supposed husband has something astake(works with Channels TV). She didn't report to a respected family MEMBER or seek a counsel from a marriage counselor for the acclaimed repeated abuse. Then we should ask ourselves, what kind of woman she is herself. As much as domestic violence is forbidden, some women(especially the educated and informed ones) uses that opportunity to trample on the ego of the man, and talk him down, disrespect him and even at times are the first abusers (I have seen a woman who threatened to beat her man and even slapped him twice). It takes extra grace and self restraint not to fight back when a woman makes you feel worthless and go through hell as a man in the house. Thee aspect of "advising him to save his money" and he just started beating you isn't logical, an average man would love a builder. |

clarocuzioo: If you are neither why don't allow the husband to be the one washing her wives dirty lining online? You think you are fighting for the man, what if the husband is aware of all you wrote but would rather go back sort out the domestic violent issues with the wife and they move on? Of course now you think you are ruining her reputation rather you are ruining the man's ego. Unless you are village people like someone rightly pointed out bent on ensuring that the marriage never succeeds? So you are either an ex, the wife beater or village people. Because I see no reason while you will cast so much aspersions on her person if she is neither your wife nor ex gf. 1 Like |

Spectaclesawe25: Did you think this is the first time this is happening? I seriously doubt. For her to have taken to social media means it has been happening. Even if it is the first time, I commend her courage. We are so immersed in the culture of hiding evil and managing it on a low low that our country is so fked up. Look around and see the level of evil and impunity being perpetrated in this country and you will be shocked. Today so many families have harboured olosho attitudes that it is very difficult to find a decent woman. Our men have been so pampered and their evil deeds treated as family matter that you hardly find a married Nigerian man without a side. Their wives have resorted to prayers to wade off the side chics since people like you have advised them to deal with it as a family matter. Look around you and see how the young generation are ruining their future with proceed from stealing (yahoo plus) and instead of their families to call out they have decided to handle it on the low low like you advised. My brother to solve so issues require drastic steps. If this is what she has to do to make the wife beater behave they she is on point. If she takes it to the family they will talk to the husband and since their is no repercussions he will do it. If she takes it to church the same thing they pray for them and tell the wife to pray more. Without any repercussions the man will do it again. If his boss fires him and he realized that he could lose his job and reputation for beating his wife and being a bad influence on his kids he is likely to sit up and behave himself. 1 Like |

The issue here is she was battered and assaulted by her spouse, and not this rubbish you typed here to gain likes. Even those liking your comments are all sick.. For your information, the Ify Thelma I know was my colleague in medical school and she wasn't a bad person from what we her colleagues all know. 2 Likes |
