Imade/Imade

Idowu/Idowu

Both are Yoruba and Edo names.
They are actually Yoruba names, adopted by Edos, even Some Edos bear Taiwo, Tunde, Ade, Folorunsho, Dele etc. Years of international marriage made cultures to be adopted Ade+Sua= Adesua, Folorunsho Ambrose Alli, Dele Momodu etc.

Oba means king in Bini but Yoruba took it from the bini. It is normal when you stay with people for a long time, they will always be adoption of some words

Baba in Yoruba means father in Edo it is Abale.
Beside baba is not used by the Yorubas alone some tribe across the globe uses it.

That is a bloody lie.... Oba means King in Yoruba language

Yoruba people don't normally use it as a title like Benin people

Imade was originally a Benin name meaning I stood firm... ...

Clearly doesn't mean the same thing in Yoruba

It has a full pronunciation not just imade

Idowu is not a Benin name
Imade did not originated from Igodomigodo, ADE is a Yoruba word and it is used mostly as prefix or suffix in names just as imADE, ADEsua, ADEwole, ADElabu, orimolADE etc. Yorubas that migrated from Ife with Oranmiyan and they settled and mixed with the Aborigines in Benin with Eweka being the one who started the Obaship dynasty that birth the Benin empire, you people are just so funny with the way and matter you want to turn the history upside down. The Yorubas mixed and blend with those from Igodomigodo land well, instead to do your thing over there, you are appropriate all what you adopted from Ile Ife such as gods, I have seen Benins claiming they own the gods Olokun, Olosa, Sango, Ogun etc na wa o. If you people want to Practice some of this gods fine, we have people Practice This Yoruba gods even in Haiti, Brazil, and many Caribbean countries, they are not claiming they own it or it originated from them. In fact the way Benin people uses Ogun to swear, even we Yorubas the owner do not use it negatively like that, any small thing the Benin will say Ogun na gbo e or something like that. Ogun is not meant for swearing unnecessary Ogun is the god of Iron and it is meant for justice.

You just wrote absolute fallacy. Edo is independent of Igbo and Yoruba language but might have originated from same source. The words listed up there are also used in Igbo like Unu for mouth, Omo for children, Ugbo for bush and Ogede for plantain. Only Oba and Ibata are different with Igbos who use Eze and Akpukwu for king and shoe with variations like Obi and Igwe.
