Logan23: Empty words.... Even emptier and meaningless insults. Can't be my fault that you lack emotional intelligence. Go sort yourself out. Make an appointment with your psychiatrist or psychologist. Insults are the last resort of ignorant and desperate individuals bereft of solid points to argue. Pity!!! 1 Like |

bigseank:If u want to exhaust all ur pocket, just go to Abia,Imo and some part of Anambra state in quest to marry any of their daughters. They are so wicked and greedy. I remember when my brother wanted to marry from Imo state, he was given a list which he paid for. After the trad, it was time to go when the inlaws requested he drop another #65k. He asked the wife to enter the car so they can go or forget anything about him. Na so the wife dive enter car and they left. It was my mum who paid that money cuz my brother said he will never pay it. Marriage in Imo especially, is just for those that want to show off their wealth. I don't even know if those girls have gold inscribed on their body which will yield wealth for their husbands. 1 Like |

Re: The Misconception About Igbo Bride Prices by Lucyspa: 11:28am On Dec 09, 2020 |
I'm tired of this complains coming from other tribes about the Igbos bride-price list. Please, it is not by force to marry an Igbo girl. If u can't afford to fund your wedding to an Igbo lady please, i beg you to try other tribes e. g The yorubas. No bride price, infact the girl's family caters more than 60% to the wedding. Even after the wedding and u decide not to work, she will still happy take care of you and the home. Most Igbos girls especially Anambra girls are groomed to be taken of by their man and their man in turn, take pride in doing so. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Logan23:Don't mind him, he has eventually not seen Imo and Abia state bride price. We went to marry a lady from Abia only to be billed almost #400k. The guy exhausted his money and even had to borrow from the elder brother. Note: they went with their own food they cooked. Marriage in these states are for those who wants to show off their wealth. 1 Like |

It depends on the family. Some are good and wouldn't stress the groom at all. I married from Aniocha North in Delta State, and it was and still fun. 1 Like |

Lucyspa: Why calling Imo State here? You can respond to his reply without state-shaming others. The funny thing here is, you might be one broke person in reality but here you are typing senseless stuff about others. It is a known fact that Imo men are the best when it comes to taking care of their family, that is why they don't have high rate of murder between couples, adultery etc, the way your state do. You can deny this but it is the fact. 1 Like |
