A wonderful morning to all the guru's in this platform. Please how do i get a Honda Civic 05 preferably American used. It's really been scarce and the few people i called said they would get back to me but it seems the car is really difficult to get as of now.

@dru23 cool your candid advice is highly welcome

Please oooo. Make una suggest Wetin be the possible cause of what’s happening to me. I have spent close to 100k and the thing is still there. I did scanning and changed all what the scanner brought.
My car drives smooth but when even I apply plenty pressure on the accelerator, it jerks and acts like it wants to go off.

I have changed o2 sensor, fuel pump and filter 2x, serviced nozzle, serviced injector mouth, changed plugs, and other things the scanner brought out.

Has anyone experienced this before?

Shouldn’t be so though, because if you trying to connect the island from Yaba before 12 noon , it’s driving against traffic , going under the bridge and all but technically when you connect the bridge back. The road shouldn’t be called one way since all the cars are going against traffic. It’s quite hard to explain but if you have taken it once you will understand what I’m saying , thanks for the info though, took that way last weekend and I guess no one was there that day

CONNECT 3RD MAINLAND BRIDGE THROUGH YABA ADEKUNLE AND FORFEIT YOUR CAR

This is my personal experience yesterday. The link between Yaba and the Bridge is closed for now, but you will see a LASTMA officer or a Policeman or some tout directing you to an alternative route, if you follow, you will later be arrested for ONE WAY. And the Executive Order for now is forfeiture.
I was arrested yesterday and have been in their office since yesterday. About 50 Cars have been arrested and brought to their office at Oshodi. They want to forfeit the Cars and auction them as they did last week.
I was favoured today after calling everyone I know in Lagos and to no avail, to be fined N200,000.
Please and please, avoid ONE WAY, anywhere in Lagos now. They are on Revenue Drive o. It's well.

yep, 1st block 24 hours, 2nd 1 week.
Try not to get 3rd block. If ratings low, tell friends to request you, drive a little and let them rate you 5 stars.

Bolt rating is over 40 recent rides, unlike Uber's 500 recent rides. Thats why

Good day guys.

Please, how long does it take for bolt to activate your account after completing your driver training course?

I completed mine since past Monday, they sent me a link to download the driver app and said they'd get back to me. It's been 5 days and I still can't access my account.

Please, I want to know if it's normal.

Thanks in anticipation.

Riders with eating in the car.

Currently around ogundana and she just came in with a plate of food.

Please join me ooo, she said politely.

Ooorrrhhh... Im sorrrrry i dont permit eating in the car plsses....

Oh...really?!
And in just packed the food so I dont keep you waiting ooo

Me: ok, let me wait for you right here while you go back and finish up okay. Is that fine?

Okay, its fine.
But what is the implication of eating in the car does it has any meaning...?

Not really, only that the next rider may not like the smell of the food.

Okay then.

3min after she returned.

So fast, hope I didnt make you rush your food? Sorry for the inconvenience okay.

This is like the first rider I've meet with great understanding.

Lol .. Funny enough I had 1 driver years ago that wanted to drive for me .. So he wanted to the move the car out of the compound ..
As the driver was moving the car ,he didnt even bother to look behind him while reversing na so he hit the wall. From that day I knew the guy can't drive , I still gave him a chance ..

First day on the job , he got into an accident and I collected my car from him. I was ashamed coz I was warned not to give him the car ......

Boss good afternoon.. I'm looking for a partner..I currently stay in Lagos

That engine you bought in july is gradually dying.

Since it has started killing plug.

My.last experience with ringed engine, the car will work like 4hours, after 4hours it will start vibrating, gradually it will start killing the plugs.

Probably you bought engine that was ringed.

1. What's the recommended engine oil and gear oil for a Toyota 05 Corolla
2. With all things being constant , if you work for 12 hours offering e/hailing services(UBER AND TAXIFY) how much can you make a week if you own the car?

Your don't just start buying parts a scanner brings out!! One part can trigger 3 different codes attached to other parts! What was the original symptom of the car and what were the scanner codes you got?

Also, when you say the plugs are "gone", gone how? And what kind of plugs did you change?

You must have been offended, hence, this response.

Bros, in all honesty, all what you put up there about that oil 20W50 in your booth is nothing but an ASSUMPTION!

Your case will not last more than two adjournment, in any court, anywhere sir. Stop assuming things.

You could, atleast check for sludge to verify your ASSUMPTION. Yet you did not. You will rather prefer to ASSUME!

Some of us keep things that we don't even need or ever use. I am not advocating for felicity, infact, i believe "him own too much".

Stop complaining about an empty keg in your booth, it's meaningless. That keg might be there for countless reason, and in fact, it could be that he's using that oil in your civic, just the way you believe, but its an ASSUMPTION, the most foolish way of making conclusion. You did not nail this one sir! Move on!

Driving your car out of Lagos, legally, he has not breached your contract, maybe morally he did! And when it comes to making ends meet in this part of the world, it's been a while i see anyone living on those morals anymore. Again on this one, pls move on!

I think you did not see felicity as a partner, you see yourself, as his helper. Yes you helped him, i have never seen anyone renting out his car for 10k, quite CHEAP. And i think felicity lack respect for you, as his partner, or perhaps, his boss. Both of you should park well!

16. Driver must roll up window when it rains...
17. Driver must not drive car into swampy areas or inside river ,water ,ocean etc
18. Driver must have good eye sight.. Certification from eye doctor must be provided.
19. Driver must proof he/she has experince in ehailing. And the vechicle is for ehailing purposes only.

And most importantly 35k rental is a must for December/January or drop the car

Also, when you say the plugs are "gone", gone how? And what kind of plugs did you change?

1st symptom was the jerking; car jerks when u apply full pressure on the throttle. But it drives smooth when I pedal lightly.

2nd problem: car went off on its own without showing any sign. It was a rewire that brought it back on.

After some days, car went off in the night on fadeyi bridge after surging. When we roll the engine, it comes on and goes off immediately. Mechanic came the next day to scan, he said it was airflow meter (I shared the codes here). We checked the airflow meter, but it wasn’t faulty. He then checked the plugs and saw that they were all bad. He told me the injector mouth is what is killing the plug. He charged 10k to get 4 plugs (according to him, they are original plugs). The car came on finally after changing plugs, servicing nozzle, servicing injector mouth and changing pump and filter. I tot all my problems were gone but the jerking didn’t stop so I changed mechanic. Mechanic said the fuel pump I just changed (assumed tukunbo is bad) according to scanner. Naso I change fuel pump again. He checked the plugs and everything was blaccccck (we changed 4plugs again, this time for 6k) we changed o2 sensor (the one in front and under). After all this change, the car still jerk when pressure is applied, but it hasn’t gone off on its own. This is actually the first time I’m experiencing all this problems. I done tire. I feel I have been attending to the problem wrongly.

Currently, scanner is showing no error

I don’t really know much about cars but at least I know when my own isn’t doing fine because I have been using it.
