Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Akannitommy: 12:05pm On Dec 09, 2020 |
5% for what? If there is a 5% charge on the courier amount (N11,310), there is already more than 11% extra on the amount I paid relative to the amount being requested. Hence, they owe me and not the other way round. BTW, they are scammers because we are being charged up to 600% of the real value of courier service. I would have paid N1,600 to get it back through DHL if I did 2-ways courier option from start. Bunch of thieves! Dampops: |

olasubomy: Yeah, I've done that now, they're going to pick up today, I will track it this evening. Initially, DHL customer service gave me the wrong information, said they're waiting for notification from VFS to come and pick up. I spoke with VFS too, hopefully this will be over by the end of the day. Thanks a lot for your help. |

MadeMan01: I really hope this works for him/her. I have uploaded the e-medical slip via webform over a month and two weeks ago, yet IRCC hasn't updated my upfront medical on GCKey. They haven't even acknowledged my webform. I had to reupload the slip two weeks ago, still no response, no update. I read on the int'l students forum at Canadavisa.com that a lot of other persons who were in this situation eventually got their BVL and passport requests. Damn! IRCC is too frustrating. |

Finally done with VFS and their wahala. Passport received few minutes ago. I didn't receive my counterfoil and loi until yesterday. Mehn the experience is another story to tell. Anyone having challenges with ircc or vfs should keep raising webforms, sending emails and calling vfs. It will end in praise. 7 Likes |

NairaLuck: Yeah, you're right. I was given the wrong information. VFS is a big wahala, I had to use autodialer app before I was able to reach them this morning. It will be over soon. Thanks a lot for your help. 1 Like |

I am planning to put in a new application but was wondering how I can prove 1. travel history , 2. my tie in Nigeria is stornger than that of Canada. However I have aunty who stood as my guardian cos I was below the age 17 last year. But I only have a window mum in nigeria that I will make me return. In my last application I added a lot of document including late dad obitury and death cert etc

I don’t think you should defer. It states that they started reviewing your NSE document on the 1st of Dec. The Nigeria Student Express is faster processing route which means that you should get a response soon enough so keep calm. I hope the gurus will add theirs too akinajibola: |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Dampops(m): 12:34pm On Dec 09, 2020 |
I meant there’s a discount of 10% on the 12,570 which comes to about 11,310 payment request. Akannitommy: |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by evergold(m): 12:34pm On Dec 09, 2020 |
Lekiboboe: Yes it does. I got it too, sent my payment info and called VFS. They opened in while I was still on call and confirmed and forwarded to the people responsible. They said they will dispatch by Friday which means I may get it by Wednesday next week at the latest. 1 Like |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Nobody: 12:36pm On Dec 09, 2020 |
akinajibola: You might have to defer; yeah, it's an option. But I'll say wait a little bit longer, say, till the last few days of the fall term. If you get no response from IRCC by then, then you could defer, or still wait till Jan 20th, during which time you could be studying online. |
