Both religions in Nigeria have a persecution complex. And smart Nigerian politicians use this to get votes and more votes and more votes while they don't solve the underlying problems of which religious crisis is a symptom.

Yes, they are doing that so that we can follow the rule of law really....especially in areas where religions are the minority.

Because the persecution complex I am talking of often time erupts in violence against people who are religious minorities...eg Muslim mob violence, Christians burning traditionalist shrines and so on.

All in all, if government enforced the rule of law all the time, instead of doing 'peace committees', maybe the persecution complex that is fueling the crisis that led to us being listed by the US would have ended a long time ago.

Well, he was somewhat successful in rebuilding the economy...it was growing prior to covid 19.

There not that much faithless electors though and these die-hard party faithfuls selected by the party/campaigns themselves...eg Hillary, congressmen, etc are electors, hence its hard to see many faithless electors.

Also, in many instances where there have been faithless electors, they don’t usually cast their votes to the other guy, only in 1756 has a faithless elector cast their vote for the other guy, most faithless electors cast their vote for other party leaders eg in 2016, many Gaithersburg electors voted for Sanders.

Also, the loosing candidate usual get the highest numbers of faithless electors,because they know that, their actions would not affect the outcomes of the election.
