Bros

LOL, Bros, 10k rent pre covid, during covid, post covid is just like throwing the car "away". Na help the young man help you, or maybe you were able to sweet talk him. You still took the car out of Lagos within that period i guess? To come back and remit 10k? Like i said earlier, nothing STOPS you LEGALLY from taking the car out of lagos, hence , the questions you asked him after he helped you released the car from the officers on the highway.
Did you divide 10k by 7 day? Dru has a choice, he could have parked the car at home and he will be fine, even if the lockdown lasted 1 year, but what about you? Be humble and allow God lift you up!

You just lost a chance to free 1yr servicing of your vehiclegrin

Okay, one more chance.

Honorable god representative;
Kindly elaborate or tell this honorable house how much you paid or were paid for rental during the lockdown.

Alright boss

Let's settle for a date first, then we can tackle these issues
. Well done my able LOC chairman, I think a Thursday of any week should be fine , reason being that traffic is lighter and you know how boys like to use weekends to cash out. My opinion though.

They say the more you do something, the better you become.

Got a non surge trip yesterday in the evening to an eartery, got to the destination, rider requested I wait. I suspected there may be surge around that place at the time but since I wasn't too sure, I asked if he won't be staying more than 5 minutes.

Next thing he said was, even if I stay 30 minutes, its my money that is running. I say bros, no be so, no vex. I actually have to pick my son from the school. Your trip was the last I planned to take before going.

Rider said he understands, I ended the trip, got my 5 star and saw serious surge and a 1.6 surge trip afterwards. cool

In my early days, I would have been smiling like a mumu while telling the guy no problem when he asked me to wait.

Sorry to go off topic. I am aware of the cons of receiving transfers from riders, however I am usually ok with transfers most of the time.

I took this calm looking northern lady from Lagos Business School, she said she was going to the international airport so we moved. She had this cardigan with her, so I believed she was heading to US or somewhere cold. Upon dropping at the airport, she did a transfer from her Jaiz bank, she was debited but I did not get alert.

I was about leaving (with the mind that I would get alert as I have not been duped before) someone knocked on my window, it was an airport official saying the lady was to go to MM1. I asked the lady where she was travelling to as she said Kano. So I took her to MM1 and collected 1k from her (800 after deducting toll). I raised the alert issue and she said we should be patient for the alert.

I called her in the course of the day and she said she has done another one and has been debited again. By Monday, she said her account has been frozen and she has been having similar issues with people not receiving payments from her. She also said until her account is unfrozen before anything can be done.

Now she is cutting my calls and must have blocked me on Whatsapp. I have her phone number and account details. I am not certain if she is a gentle fraud or just a slow poke who means no harm.

The trip is #4,900 and I am in limbo for now as Uber said it is more than 3 working days already.

Good people,

As envisaged, the northern lady has still not made the payment and has put me on a no receipt list on her phone as the calls do not even connect at all.

She also is not responding on whatsapp any longer. It is way past 3 weeks since the ride and she did not oay my #4,900 despite how understanding I tried to be with her.

Her number is as follow:

08064951485
Saratu Ibrahim Sanusi

Kindly do justice.
Thanks.

Good afternoon, I have tried to send a mail but I don’t know why it’s not going through. I had the same starting issues this morning. A close by mechanic came and checked the plug, it was black. He serviced it and the car came on and remained on. I quickly showed him the photo you suggested yesterday. He said there’s nothing like that in my car, that it doesn’t come in all cars. He said the fault might be from my engine (I changed engine in July). E shock me sha. I had an appointment so I couldn’t even start arguing. @gauzzuzz, I also sent a mail, I dunno if you received.

@radautoworks has been corrected by @Blackbishop that no such thing in a Corolla 05.

All these our English mechanic self, na wow.

All my Corolla i have not seen such and i try searching my Corolla engine to see if i will see such.

All these Chinese scanner, will be giving you wrong code and mechanic will be messing with ur brain, if that thin keep killing plug, that engine is gradually dying. Prepare money for another engine. If you ring it, will keep giving you the same problem.

God will help you,

No, I mean no harm please. I use only Uber, but I realized there are certain locations Uber doesn’t pick- so I had to download Bolt.

My first bad ride experience was on Bolt, the driver was angry over something that I couldn’t tell and ended up transferring the anger on me. Long time ago I was stuck somewhere on the mainland and my friend helped me book a Bolt ride, the driver kept cursing other motorists. Few days back my Uber app was malfunctioning, Izzôu helped me book a cab and it was yet another aggressive Bolt driver. He was also cursing other motorists, in fact, he called them FOOLS and asked if I don’t think they are foolish.

I don’t think it is a coincidence, there has to be a reason. I have never had problems with Uber drivers...

Where are you finding all these mechanics? Where are you located? Is Bishop or someone we know not close to you? THE FAULT IS NOT IN YOUR ENGINE. Your car doesn't have a fuel regulator kwa

edit: additional question, is your car south african? if you don't know, post your VIN. second question, do you know if your enging is 1ZZ or 2ZZ?

Beng1234, the only other thing i can think of if your car is US made is they have kazeemized your car with an older version 2000-2003 that has the regulator INSIDE the fuel pump that I previously mentioned. If that's the case, then did they change just the pump (the piece circled in red) or the whole assembly? These questions probably pass you so you need to find your way to betta mechanic like Bishop. This is why I always warn about penny wise, pound foolish. Take your car to a reputable place for correct diagnosis, then get somewhere cheaper to fix it.

These are all the possible locations for it depending on which engine is in your car. Find it, you find your problem. A lot of mechanics there don't even know if it's existence SMH.
