Please guys, a quick question, is our WES Evaluation still valid after landing in Canada?, Like can we use it to get a job in Canada. Please, a nice reply would be appreciated, I know this question might have been asked here before. I was referred to this thread from the express entry thread. |

Good day Elders God bless you for all you do. I have something bordering me so i decided to share it here to at least get an insight,(am very new here) I recently got my PR . still awaiting passport from Accra. I am a banker here but intend to make a career switch to a bit of IT (business aspect of IT) this is due to my foundation, experience and degree. In light of this i started training/courses in business analysis as i intend to be a certified business analyst before arriving. i have gotten my scrum certification(PSM1), IIBA-AAC(Agile Business analysis) and will do CBAB before year end by Gods grace. Now my questions is where to actually reside in view of this. Initially i wanted to go to Edmonton because of fair rent and also i have a close friend who promise to assist with some referrals so i can start doing something once i land as the goal is to start earning something as soon as possible. However due to this new line of career path i'm seeking and from research gathered online it seems majority of the BA jobs are in Ontario especially the GTAs. This has made me to start considering Mississauga. So for landed seniors especially those living in this area what is life like there, cost of accommodation(at least 1BR), cost of living, generally everything i should know that is not on google. mode of transportation. Any BA whatsapp group in Canada or ontario that i can join. Thanks as i await your responses. PS; i am ready to start from the scratch pending when the desired once come. will be landing in march hopefully , 1 Like 1 Share |

newhomeca:have you checked youtube For accommodation check kijiji.com. Some landlords in Ontario GTA don't like renting to new comers(no job reference, no credit score, no landlord reference) . So bring enough money to show you are capable of paying rent. 1 Like 1 Share

Good evening everyone, I’m currently an intern pharmacist and I’ll like to know the job prospects for pharmacist in canada after passing the exams and what province is the best to settle into considering how easy it would be to find a job as a pharmacist? I would also like to ask my senior colleagues in the house if the move to Canada was worth all the exam stress |

newhomeca: My knowledge of rent in Missisauga is that it’s very expensive. Visit kijiji.ca and customize your search to rent in Missisauga, you will get better answers there. IT is not my field but I doubt GTA is the only area with jobs in the BA field. I have heard of Hamilton and Calgary having jobs in this field. I may be wrong sha. Have you tried checking indeed? What does it say? I have noticed that areas with so many jobs in a particular field tend to post ads more often on Indeed , for example if you search for a job on indeed(for a job in demand) in a specific area, you tend to see things like- “two days ago “, “24 hours ago” etc because the field is in demand so job ads go up often. This is just one way of looking at it. I’m not a guru, I hope you make the best decision. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

19CannyMum:$210 in utilities during winter? Does that not include water and garbage? Quite cheap, i guess Enmax is involved. |

chinchum: You're right, I just checked and it's 290 in winter. I calculated gas and electricity to be bimonthly but it's actually monthly. ATCO not enmax. Fixed electricity, floating gas. |
