Alexis11:Arewa is the biggest problem of nigeria. Infact, arewa is the only problem of nigeria. Igbo and Yoruba have a new political awareness and we are interested in putting it to good use for our needs and interests for survival in nigeria. |

Arrewa:The way you ridicule most especially Igbos on this forum is what drives them to await any negative news coming from your end to initiate equal measure on you and your lots. You unapologetically get relief in ridiculing those from the East. Even when it has no bearing on them, you still find a way to indulge yourself in bigotry. That's why they revel in in security challenges confronting the north despite the fact that almost every service chief is a northerner. I tell you most solemnly, just like the bolded, fulanis are indeed the machete wielding tribe of Nigeria 2 Likes 1 Share |

dalass:People on both sides of the river are responding and doing the right thing. Yes, we are seeing small but positive changes. Yoruba wants survival in nigeria. Igbo wants survival in nigeria. Fights and bickerings will not give us survival, it will only empower our common antagonists in arewa. We are determined to change the script. 2 Likes |

[quote author=Arrewa post=96992952]Fulanis are great people... We are Born to win!! A typical Fulani man is a brilliant, intelligent creature, usually blessed with a natural leadership acumen. When educated, they tend to excel & dominate wherever they're found hence their exploits. You think Amina Mohammed is the UN Dep. Sec. Gen. just because she is Fulani? Or you think Dangote is the richest black man in the world because he is Fulani?? We are great people So the hatred should keep coming... We are immune to hatred!! We are the Vikings of Africa! Arrewa: Point of correction. Do not conflate Fulani with Hausa. Hausa represent one of the largest ethnic groups (if not the largest) in Africa. Until the marauding invaders came from the Northeast spreading Islam through war and forced conversation. Dangote is ethnic Hausa. And yes he became the richest black man due to government patronage starting from the 80s. In case you're not aware, he was awarded a monopoly of rice importation under IBB to feed the largest black nation on earth. Even you would become a mega-rich with that type of monopoly. And it is on record that successive governments afterwards till this day (including PDP) has favored him at the expense of the common man. Just a few weeks ago, the borders were opened exclusively for Dangote while remaining shut to other businesses. But I'm not taking anything away from his vision. Any smart businessman would have done the same thing. It's the responsibility of government to ensure a level playing field. https://twitter.com/bbgafrica/status/1325870279831252994 https://punchng.com/fg-exempts-dangote-from-border-closure-report/ Yes there are good and bad ones in every tribe but the northern problem has been exacerbated by the refusal of the Northern leaders to instill a culture of education and enlightenment which will empower the people to confront issues objectively. Arabic and Islam education alone will not help your people. Rather it is a means to further repression and subjugation of the masses by the elite while they themselves (the elite) continue to live lavishly and avail themselves of all the goodness the western world has to offer. Case in point: When Buhari took over , one would expect that he would expand and consolidate on the concept of Almajiri Schools started by the previous administration. This is something that would favour his own people. But what happened ? That initiative has been consigned to the dustbin of history. Shows you how well he (and his likes) value western education. Was it Arabic education that built the Land Cruisers and the Lexus SUVs they love so much in the North ? Man the hypocrisy is sickening . Where are the international experts in the private sector, the globally renowned professionals of Hausa or Fulani extraction ? Dr. Rilwan Lukman spent his entire career (apart from two years) working for the Nigerian Government. So we can still allude his career achievements to government connections especially considering his rapid rise from an inspector in the Ministry of Mines straight to the Chairmanship of a government owned cement company . And then it was one politIcal appointment after the another until he ended up in OPEC. Sanusi and Amina Mohammed I both respect as those who made it in private sector before government appointments . Amina more so than Sanusi cos her prior career had an international dimension to so I would say her recognition is mostly based on merit. Sanusi is equally intelligent and highly educated (and is usually highly intellectual when he's not talking some religiously biased stuff), but how much of an impact his influential family had on his local career uptill he became First Bank CEO, I cannot say. But these are the two exciting people to listen to and I've had the privilege of listening to them in my sojourn as a banker and (later) an international development specialist. But where are the unsung IT experts, the inventors, those who push boundaries in the fields of human endeavor such as medicine, arts, engineers etc ? Man tell yourself the truth. The world is moving on and nobody will wait for you. Your people are being left behind due to the decisions of the past. The only hope now is to continue to cling to power by any means so as to have access to easy resources for the elite to siphon and stay relevant. So stop posting photos of some bridges and roads built by unsustainable federal allocations or pictures of elderly men on horseback who do not understand how far ahead the world has gone. I mean no offence in case you feel disrespected. But it is what it is. 8 Likes 1 Share |

This victim mentality of Southern Nigerians is responsible for the boldness of these beasts of the bush (FOOLANIS). The day the oppressed people of the South say enough is enough, that would be the day of their liberation. We have complained and lamented for far too long. Mr Man, You don't own Nigeria in anyway. When Obasanjo was president, he was "dumb" enough to carry everyone along. So did all presidents until the pestilence called Buhari came to power. We have now seen what the Fulani are capable of when you put an irredentist bigot in power. It was a mistake that we won't repeat again. So, you can hold on to INEC and police and everything. I can assure you that in 2023, the power is coming down South and we will show you what it feels like to have your people removed from everywhere, just like Buhari just did. Either that or we split the country if you won't hand over power to the South. And we will do it strategically. Lobbying the western powers with a load of cash. Enjoy because all these arrogance ends in 2023. Then you will see how educated bigots deal with uneducated bigots. Arrewa: 4 Likes |

AsiwajuNdigbo: Yoruba will survive more and prosper more in Oduduwa Republic. Igbo will survive more and prosper more in their Biafra. Same as the Nigerdelta country or countries. Fulani shall pray better to Allah in a country of the 12 Sharia states that adopted unconstitutional Islamic Sharia criminal laws. Chief Olu Falaye: "But you're now conspiring with them, coming down to other people's domain, causing problems for other people and I also suspect that some political manipulations are going on. When I was a child, herdsmen were our friends, they would bring their cows here and we would sing with them after selling their cows, they were not threatening anybody. Three things stand out since 2015: 1.) Nigerian Herdsmen have always been Peaceful with other Nigerians. The current violent strain of Fulani Herdsmen, according to President Buhari, "are of foreign origin" (The President would know, as he has access to privileged information and his own Father and himself by extension, are foreigners from Niger republic). So, this is a war waged on Nigerians by a foreign group for which the Fed. Govt and its Security forces, lead mostly by same Fulanis, that Mr. President deliberately appointed, have refused to tackle and put down. The big question is WHY? Why would a Fulani President, appoint Fulani Security Chiefs and tell Nigerians to 'accommodate' foreign Fulani Herdsmen slaughtering them day and night? Is this a deliberate Act of Genocide by the President and his appointed Security Chiefs or not? 2.) Fulani Herdsmen have killed more innocent Nigerians, down South and Middle Belt, than Boko Haram has ever killed but they have never been under threat of arrest!. Looking at 'infrastructural' developments in Nigeria in the past 5yrs, it is obvious that they are all skewed towards our neighbouring country (Niger Republic, a country of Fulani Herdsmen, same country where Buhari's father comes from). So, we must ask: Is Buhari and his Fulani Security hierarchy, representing the interest of Nigeria as a sovereign country or that of his Fulani kindred from the foreign country of Niger Republic? 3.) The terrorist, Fulani Herdsmen killing Nigerians are not even doing so in secret, they have an Umbrella organisation called MACBAN and curiously so, their LIFE Patron is the current President of Nigeria. Non of them have ever been arrested, even as they wipe-out whole villages and rename it as a Fulani Village. What does this tell us? If we factor-in the RUGA and Water resources Bill of President Buhari, does it take much thinking to realise that what Nigerians, especially those of the Middle belt and Southern Nigeria, have on their hands is a Presidentially-enable and empowered GENOCIDE by these foreign, terrorist Fulani Herdsmen-Invaders from all over West Africa (Futa Jalon in Guinea, Mali, Senegal, Niger Republic, Chad, Sudan, Northern Cameroon, etc) slaughtering Nigerian citizens wholesale and let lose on them by our own President and Govt. Conclusion: The International Criminal Court (ICC) and the UN Human Righst Council (UNHRC) must look into these Crime against Humanity by the 4th most dangerous terrorist group in the world, according to 'World Security Index' assessment of the terrorist Fulani Herdsmen, whom Nigeria President has re-christened as "Bandits", just to obfuscate his 'familial linkage' and enabling linkage to them. Food insecurity will lead to War and Famine, displaced people and for a country of 200M, it will be disastrous for Africa, if nothing is done urgently. Farmers in the Middle Belt and Southern Nigeria can no longer go to their farm for fear of being killed by these foreign, terorist Fulani Herdsmen. We urge all international bodies and countries of goodwill, to come to the Aid of Nigerians, especially of those of the middle belt and Southern Nigeria, to deliver us from the hands of these vicious terrorists called Fulani Herdsmen and their Umbrella body called MACBAN in Nigeria. Nigerians affected must also take their own destiny and survival into their own hands, since it is obvious that Nigerian Security and its forces has been HIJACKED by these foreign Fulani terrorists. We can no longer rely on Govt to protect us, despite that being the most cardinal responsibility fo Govt, since the Nigerian Govt and the terrorist, Fulani Herdsmen are now one and the same, led by Mr. President. If we have to face the infiltrated Nigerian Army, if we have to divide this country and/or go to war to live in peace, then so be it. If we keep quiet as we have been doing, we die! If we talk and fight back, we either die or stand a chance to live. The Choice is obvious. Live in Dignity or die trying. 3 Likes
