@Blavkmaann, my fellow Concordian! If my assumptions are correct, I think the reason Concordia won't issue you an enrollment letter yet is because you have not registered for courses. Once you do that in the Winter 2021 term, you will have a right to request one even if it is just a paragraph letter saying so. Your course registration print out will be very useful to have along too. But please make sure to enroll for classes from Nigeria online before you travel. I have just started my own process yesterday and will brief you when I get responses to my questions. Thanks.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by iampaulsmith(m): 5:14pm On Dec 12, 2020
My school told me it should be from the same account but it should be a recent SOA i.e it should be printed again to show the funds till the most recent week, say two weeks before your flight.
However, let’s wait for advice from those that just travelled.

Yes, a PGD/PG. Cert is acceptable and a good career progression for a Bachelor's degree holder

Note, the PGD or PG.Cert that person wanna go for should either relate with what he/she studied in his/her B.SC

or

relate to His/Her Work Experience

I flew from Uyo to Lagos on Tuesday evening and I stayed with a family friend for the night. I arrived the airport around 10am for a flight of 1.40pm. I thought I was early until I saw the queue. Quick tip: even if your flight is for 6pm, get to the airport around 12pm and stay there till they are ready for you cheesy.

Ethiopian airlines usually do manual verifications of all students travelling to Canada. You really need to be there on time for this because the man doing it is slow and doesn't care about your time. He asked for proof of enrollment, admission letter, ArriveCAN slip, and visa page. Please make at least two copies of all of these too. After showing him, he'll snap and then send to someone via WhatsApp to verify. Once confirmed, your passport will be given a number and you'll then proceed to where it will be scanned again for secondary verification. After this stage, you will then go to where you can get a boarding pass.

The plane left Lagos around 2pm. I was seated at the back and had space to stretch legs smiley. We got to Addis Ababa around 7pm (Nigeria time) and then we entered a long queue for onward movement. From Addis Ababa, we went to Dublin for refueling and then to Toronto. Upon arrival, we talk a long walk (very long o) and got to immigration people. The woman that attended to me asked for these (in the following order):
1. Declaration slip (will be given to you in the airplane)
2. Passport
3. LOI
4. Student Status letter (enrolment letter)
5. School fees/tuition receipt
6. ArriveCAN page (apparently, I didn't even fill my own well and was delayed for a while. Make sure you fill yours well)
7. POF
8. LOA

She asked me the following:
Which department were you admitted into?
Why did you choose MUN?
What is your name?

Then she took my finger prints and issued me a Study Permit for 3 years (my program is for 2 years but I don't know why it was issued in excess).

I went to wait board a St John's flight after a long wait at the airport. Got to St. John without qualms. Reach my apartment, checked in and slept off.

Exams start on Monday. Canada is beautiful and nice. I love the place. Good luck to all who are applying or will soon come.

It has ended in praises.

Thank you! I emailed them and I’m yet to get a response but when I checked the schools website this is what I found below and i have to pay $20 to get it. I don’t know if others had to pay to get theirs as well.
It also says that the enrollment letter will show the courses that are on my transcript so I’m wondering if it’s only for people who have started classes.

Akannitommy:
You are already eligible for a confirmation of enrollment by virtue of registering for Winter 2021 courses. Email your departmental coordinator with proof indicating the importance of the document at both the Nigerian and Canadian border ends. They will issue one or direct you to where you can download it. Your course registration print out is also a very important document which may substitute for the enrollment letter should be unable to get a letter. But I would insist you get one, it is a very specific requirement.

Hi,

Your cousin can't go for a Masters in Canada due to his 2.2 Grade, the minimum qualification for Masters in Canada is 2.2.

- His best shot is to go for a
PG. Cert in Banking & Finance Related Program
or
a PG. Cert in an Haulage related program
in Canadian Colleges.

Based on his work experience in HAULAGE
a PG. Cert in SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT seems perfect for him

- Also there is no scholarship for PG. Cert programs.

- That 7k as tuition for skooling in Canada is very low, as an International Student, you pay more, you should be looking at 14k upward as tuition fee for International Students, it can also be more than that depending on the skool & PG. cert program your cousin wanna go for, in a NUTSHELL, Financial Readiness is very important

- After your cousin apply to a college & gain the admission & has gotten his Letter of Acceptance(LOA) for a PG.Cert program, then the content in the link below is his plug
