Very nonsense advice. My mother will be a high priced consultant in my marriage if at all there will be any. Why will I get married to a coded olosho and not involve a woman that married my father as virgin?

Of course, for you to choose to get married, you already believe you are mature to handle things. So why involve MOTHER all the time? If you keep telling them about the mistakes of your spouse, I wonder what you are putting their minds about your spouse.

Stop it

She has a point for real. A good point

so if your mom asks you 'how far' concerning your home, you will tell her to fuckoff?
No, you will simply tell her that everything is going smoothly, even when something is not okay, but you’re the head of the family, your mother will not be there for you for ever, try to take responsibility on your own, involving your mother?

Only a foolish nonentity that grew up in a household full of hate, backbiting, beatings, jealousy and bitterness will ever say such rubbish against her mom.
It is obvious she is not raised in a family full of love and happiness.
No wonder she go dey strong face, dey shout everywhere like one she-devil.
Bastard pikin.

Try getting ur mother involved in every issue u have wit ur spouse nd see how ur marriage will look like.

i am very glad, that i am not the type of man that can be pressured by SM or peers or whatever. On a daily basis people come online and start dishing out advice, both wrong and correct advice.

As a man you should know your mother and your wife very well. But most importantly as a man you should know yourself. There would be times you would need advice from someone you trust. An advice that can only come from someone with experience.

As for me. My mother is too wise for me to keep out of my marriage entirely.

I don't agree with Aisha.

Aisha,
Your mother is not the same as all Nigerian mothers,
is that understood?

Most girls/ladies best friends are their mothers,
Sisi Yewande of can testify to this.

Your mother sticks with you forever,
But your hubby can leave you anytime after turning your face to the face of one of Anthony Joshua's opponent or did what that Channels TV reporter did to the face of his wife!

So kindly speak for yourself and your family Aisha,
That is your family palava.

Next.......

True that!

When it comes to marriage, no universal formula. What works for A might not work for B.

I have seen family members helped in reviving a sinking marriage

Just read what most of them are posting all over the thread, even the ones who claim to be smart and exposed... The bias against the woman is so evident in their pointlessly vicious posts.

Education is dying in this nation!!! Seems we are no longer raising smart youths!!! I am deeply ashamed!!!

Nigerian fresh graduates are already obsolete.

Aisha Yesufu Advises Married Couples: 'For Your Marriage To Work, Keep Your Mother Out Of It'

Activist, Aisha yesufu has taken to her Twitter handle to advise married couples to keep their mothers out of their marriage if they want their marriage to work, IgbereTV reports.

According to her, the moment you start sharing what is happening in your marriage with your mother, she will begin to interfere in your marriage which will cause you trouble.

Read her tweets below.

She’s absolutely correct... mothers always causing issues for their son’s marriage is mainly because the son gave the mother the opportunity to interfere and meddle into their marriage affairs. Men must truly understand the saying in the Bible, that a man must leave his father and mother, to find his better half. It says a lot but because most men feel they don’t wanna hurt their mom they tend to share virtually everything that happens. Like she says find what works for you, and that actually works for me. It’s no disrespect to help your parents understand these things.

Mothers are very useful to her children’s family no matter what and they can’t be ignored bt there is a level of interference they can/must have or it will/may cause clashes. This is generally speaking.

Now mothers are also different some good, some bad and difficult so in such cases ur home and wife comes 1st as usual anyways while the difficult highly emotional mothers are managed.

In is some cases the mother is good bt the wife is tyrant or a difficult humanbeing lol, in this case most men please their stubborn wives for peace sake and ask their moms for understanding unless the wife fvcksup then she will be relegated.

For a marriage to work, keep third parties out of it. Seek counsel from the wise. There are many good mothers. But be smart enough to know if your mother's love is so jealous that she wouldn't tell you the truth when you have a matrimonial challenge. Well, for such mothers, they are a no no for me.
