Xhaka red card is a blessing in disguise. Nevertheless if we lose this match, Arteta should start packing his bags. For all his tactical noose, he is a poor decision maker. I was a staunch advocate of him becoming our manager but he clearly doesn't understand the job. I can now say he is worse than Emery.
Ah shocked worse than ebening ke cheesy

Well, Arterta could also bring Lazio to top4 in Italy if given the right platform and enabling environment just as Emery is enjoying life in Spain. Arsenal could be the problem, don't forget the problems like I've been saying is depper. lipsrsealed

Patrice Evra speaking on @SkySportsPL: "Thierry Henry, one day he invited me to his house, he said 'we're going to watch the Arsenal game.'

"The first image we saw Xhaka being the captain. Thierry Henry turned off the TV and said 'I can't watch Xhaka be the captain of my team."

Apparently, my suspicions about Arteta not having control of the dressing room seem to be true. I made this observation 3-4 weeks ago and now it is rumored Arteta and Luiz have had a fallout amongst other dressing room and personnel issues..

This will explain a lot of issues including the lack of discipline, accountability, consequence and why the same players stroll into the lineup week in week out after shambolic performances.

Players like Holding/ Bellerin/ Xhaka/ Lacazette/ Auba/ Willian should have their places questioned after this run but no.. They are always on the sheet..

After last week’s loss, you would think Arteta will be bold enough to make obvious changes.. no!
The worst performers from the previous week stroll back into the team playing the same crappy cross and nod with zero discipline!

Yet you want to tell me the players respect him? Or he has any iota of control over the team? But we can’t critique him..

No be here we dey? grin

Insightful professional opinion.

Before we forget, this past summer, Hertha Berlin offered to take Xhaka for 25M, the board was okay with it but guess who pleaded with and convinced Xhaka to stay? Arteta!

That decision meant sending Torreira/ Guen out of the team for this same Xhaka that offers this team absolutely nothing!

Yet, I should not critique Arteta? Or question some of his irrational decisions making?

Xhaka is an activity former. His passing motion looks good but he never goes anywhere with it. Same with Willian. If you see the way Willian moves around the pitch like a gangster you would never believe that he has scored only 60 league goals in his 14 yr career.

This decision was the red flag for me, I knew he would fail with that singular thing he it. I think it was even around £34M.

The no1 Emery deserved the sack was extending Xhaka's contract and avoiding Elneny, I was like didn't you see Nzonzi at Sevilla? Saw Verrati,Motta at PSG, yet Ebening made him captain, then I understood Xhaka dey use serious Jazz.

For me, decision to retain/sell Xhaka at Arsenal has been a true test of a coach who understands football and would stay long at the Emirates.

Also The emergence of Xhaka ended Wenger. undecided

The ironic thing is that the style of play for both player contradicts and neutralizes Arteta’s tactics and offensive scheme...but he keeps picking them...

I can bet my left opposable thumb that he would have picked Xhaka on Wednesday if he wasn’t suspended...

Another shame is Bellerin who didn't developed his technique and decision making earlier in his career because of his insane speed and acceleration.
Now that he lost both post-injury he has become a liability.

How bad your junior defenders are that Arteta keeps playing Holding is another question that needs to be answered by oracles.

You can't keep playing misfiring oldies and think the fan base will trust you that you are building for the future. If you want to lose it is better to lose while playing the youngsters.

See my attached arguments and the dates

Everything you have said here, I predicted before the season started. I was firm about cutting out losses, sell Bellerin and pursue M. Aaron of Norwich. I said the same thing about Holding. I fear for Tierney because he is now another instrument of the forceful cross and nod nonsense.

Roland17:

As for Holding, as much as I like him, I think its time to cut our loses and move on from him and that I why I am not bothered about his impending move to Newcastle. I understand that may change if Luiz is injured long term.

Good thing you asked about defenders, saliba is very much available
Roland and Arteta think he's not ready
Another is ESR after freezing out ozil, he couldn't even give the boy minutes in the league but will give willock minutes upon minutes

Arteta's favoritism is his undoing big time. I never expected Arteta to really have favorites wen he came, moreover having at most 1 favorite isn't bad. But having up to 4-5 in a team it's just too bad. He claims he wants to give everyone a fair chance wen he came, yet players not deserving any minutes stroll into the starting 11 like they're the owners of the club.

It just made me wonder that don't Arteta has eyes to see all these shambolic displays his players are playing, yet plays them week in week out? Na wa oo

Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by Jodera: 7:35am On Dec 14, 2020
Apparently, the defence Arteta wants to build FIRST, is now in shambles. This is what happens wen a coach thinks like a small club (solve defence issues first before attacking issues). Now we're truly a small club flirting with relegation cos the attack can't score to save his life. Because of blunt attack, we've now resorted to cross and nod(another attribute of small team mentality) to save our life.

If attack can't score and midfield isn't superb, even a strong defence will surely crumble.

When Arteta started using that his stupid 343 to limit ways for teams to score us instead of actually thinking of how to score teams was really the beginning of his end in this arsenal team

Good ebening Sir. At least my eyes don clear small.

Seeing our upcoming fixtures, na relegation we go dey by new year.

Can't believe the last time we won was Nov 1... Over one month.

And it seems we're scoring 1goal per month. That means, Even the goal of this month have already been exhausted against wolves grin grin.

Na to dey use the opportunity go dey bet against arsenal be that. Can't wail during match and still wail after match for this useless team grin grin
