SmartPolician: Chinua Achebe recalled that many people who worked for Biafra during the war did it without asking for pay. If people are not willing to sacrifice for their country, that country is finished. This doesn't exist in the ruling class of Nigeria... Am sure when you read his book you saw it? |

The ship is sinking, if no remedial trajectory is triggered..the elite know this and are preparing with lifeboats The ship's captain has no idea about how navigation, technology or even the stars assist in reaching dry land He's down in the ship's hull smoking, eating, drinking sour milk and having sex |

kraftysprouts: Restructuring will not change anything, mark my words! They are just using big English to confuse you. What is restructuring, is it not resource control by each region? If the present governors, state house of assembly members who are full bred indigenes of their respective states are still stealing from the 40% resource control of their state, even if you give them 90% resource control, they will just end up stealing more. The solution is to change the system, so that even if the devil becomes president tomorrow, the system already put in place will force him to be uncorruptible. A democratic system works only for the people who truly knows how the system works and educate themselves properly. Democracy is a process and when people know how that process works, they will use it to their full advantage. If the masses doesn't know how democracy works, they will be helpless and wallow in an endless cycle of peril. Nigerians don't know how to use democracy cos they don't read. In a Democratic system, every elected official elected by the people or rigged election can be recalled at anytime if the people know how to wield the enormous power of the pen. So Nigerians need to learn how to go through the process of recall- reelect- recall -reelect. It is not just by doing election and campaign dancing, they need to know how the other side works too. 3 Likes |

Jupiter7: Does Nigerians have the power you are talking about? The restructuring will also put power in the hands of the people. So corrupt coupists brought up generals do not go about shooting people because their political masters demand it |

Patrioticman007: Thank you very much. Nigerians are very quick to point fingers on faces that are very far from them when the problem is with them inside their own house. When Goodluck was in power, everyone was on Goodluck/Patience case, now another face has entered, finger pointing continues. When buhari goes and another face enters power,, ehen that face will be the new finger pointing victim. They don't know they have the power to change things themselves. Stop pointing at faces, people need to learn how the process of election recall- reelect works. 95% of Nigerians don't know who is their Local government chairman. That is the arm of government that is supposed to be closest to the masses. They don't even care to know sef. 1 Like |

kraftysprouts: Why do you think Nigerians don't have the power to do this?? Why do you think Nigerians don't have the power to recall and reelect. Restructuring only transfer power to the same corrupt politicians and corrupt political system. |

Jupiter7: If the system is put in place to perform optimally then everything will be OK, even in America there's corruption but because everyone is independent it's a bit reduced and difficult. If Nigerians have power soldiers won't shoot at them Simple recall process won't take you to a mountain top There's no NATIONALISM in our politicians |
Re: Nigerians Spent Over $1b Buying Foreign Citizenship In 2020 by Nobody: 5:00am On Dec 14, 2020 |
kraftysprouts: I support restructuring oo, but restructuring can only bring benefit to the masses when we get rid of corruption first. As you rightly pointed out, there is no NATIONALISM in our politicians. So why not recall those politicians. |

I know he has acknowledged systemic racism which can exist in the West but to directly say Nigeria is better is something I have not heard him say but again I may be missing something |
