Call out Messi for his poor finishing along with his walking attitude, losing the ball alot, laziness and his fanboys are on you like a rash. A smart person would wonder why only a single player gets more than 80 percent of his team shots. An objective person will wonder why someone who has a playmaking role will have both the highest number of chances created and the highest number of shots as well - meaning that he is creating chances for others and himself ( where are others end products?).A normal person will wonder why a 33 year old player is the creator , striker and midfielder in a team .

As a player, you'll create a pass only when you know the best options would lead a productive attack. Check out that match with Trincao and you'd see that even if the rest of the team choose not to pass to him again, it's worth it.

I'll accept that neglecting Dest was out of it but then, what can we do? It's not Messi "commanding" FDJ to pass to him (except if there's something I don't know) and even so, you don't expect him to allow the ball play away when it's obvious he's the one that can lead a dangerous attack as opposed the other.

This is a dumb question. When the other players always pass to Messi how will the other attackers get service. Players in better positions are getting ignored because of Messi. If any player gets 10shots and only scores one it shows how wasteful he was. If Griezmann had 10shots and only scored one you will be among those blasting him for being wasteful.
