I don't venture much when k am in Lagos but the farthest I have gone is Abuja to visit a guy we went t ok College together who happens to he running one of Government agencies and Ibadan after that. Will holla at my friend Ike whenever I am ready and probably stay with him. Needs to start exploring the inner Nigeria. I went with my Dad last year to Ijebu Mushim for the funeral of his close friend and I found that little Ijebu town very amusing. That's what vacation should be about.

Yeah! I agree with you. Taking ones self away from home and still finding home. Nigeria has beautiful unexplored destination. Cultures, delicacies and tradition are my favorite part. May be after that I would say environment-The terrain.

yes nau..I guess he must have taken a look at the mirror and wondered how he ended up working with and for a nincompoop like trump...

For people to support a creature like trump in this 21st century shows a lot of people need psychological help..

If you remember I had asked on this forum if any of trump supporters in Nigeria would love to work under a boss with trumps attitude. Many kept quiet.

That fat slob is so bad that when Jeff Sessions was fired for not being a personal lawyer of Trump, Barr told Trump in the Oval office that he would do Trump's bidding. The worst Attorney General in recent history. Good riddance to a pile of doo doo.
the truth is who ever doesn't do trumps bidding he would keep on firing that person until he gets the partisan zombie support he yearns for.

You are the one that will make me discover Nigeria inter lands more. Funny enough is that my movement doesn't go beyond IKJ and Island but will talk to my cousin about Yankari Games Reserve and Obudu Ranch that I read about on Nairaland. There's so much one can do in three to four weeks of vacation and I still want to spend quality time with my parents. I love Games Reserve and my wife and I have been to Kruger National Park in SA and Kenya National Park. Will take to your advice about exploring Nigeria this time. I believe there are many good sites to be seen in Nigeria.

He only resigned because having gone along with 99% of the Presidents corruption, he couldn't go through with the last 1%. Nothing big is about to happen. The current Deputy AG will not commit a crime which he may have to pay for in 36 days time.
they think the USA is Nigeria.

Perpetual maladministration and incompetent leadership has cracked open the skull of some or many Nigerians to the extent they can't differentiate between what is right and wrong in a government.

That's all he does. His first cabinet meeting was just like Politburo of the then Russian Regime where all the cabinet members starting from Pence were kissing his rear like he's the second coming of Jesus Christ. That's when I know this fat slob

Why bother explaining to such brain dead mōron.

You are overcomplicating things for his level of reasoning.

In simple terms, the power to select electors lies in the hands of The Governor, so:

(1.) State Legislators trying to submit alternate electors is illegal in the first place

(2.) The Supreme Court affirmed that on Friday in a suit Texas brought to put elector selection back in the hands of the State Legislature

(3.) The Michigan State speaker Lee Chatfield has actually affirmed that their electoral votes will go to Biden

(4.) Therefore the clown Legislator trying to submit votes for Trump was not even representing the Legislature.

That the IsiEwu is genuinely outraged that that clowns electoral vote submission was rejected shows that he doesn't have two brain cells to rub together.

These are basic concepts to anyone with brain capacity above that of a goat

Road trip in Nigeria is not fun for me due to the bad roads. I went to Ibadan with my father's driver and the nice guy had a lead foot and I cautioned him few times because the road then was dilapitating and same when my Dad and I went to Ijebu Mushin. Those roads needs urgent attention.

The bad roads is the fun! I am missing it already.. The ups and downs.... It shakes your bones. The tire punctures and all... Those are the things you will remember. The fun you will likely forget, the travails you wont. If I remember those names, I remember them because of my travails.

I don't know a soul from that part but I know it's not far from the East. I am a picky eater because I rarely eat meat and I don't drink alcohol but I love Amala and vegetable stew with that dry fish my mum used to make for us. I like whole Oatmeal too as a solid food and maybe Brown Rice which is equivalent of Ofada Rice for is fiber. No other solid food for me and the funny thing is my parents will kill for Gari and Pounded Yam. Just too much starch for me. I love Jollof Ruce too but who doesn't. Going to try Isi Ewu for the first time this Dec. I love visiting Nigeria. I look forward to it because of my old folks and something different from the hustle and bustle of Yankee.

Nigeria doesn't scare me. I love visiting Nigeria and when I go to South Africa for work, I almost make sure I spend about four or five days in Nigeria. I used to bring my children to Nigeria occasionally and they love it and my Son still tease me with Up NEPA once in a while. Of all my siblings, I am the one that is in tune with Nigeria. My brother is once every 5 to 7 years and my two Sisters are just like that and I can understand their reasoning. I won't mind living part of my retirement life in Nigeria when I hang my boots up. I love the relaxing nature of doing whatever I want without getting up in the morning with an alarm clock. You know what I meant.

My parents are well covered for that and I have a Duplex in Ikeja right there by Chief MKO Abiola House. It's just few months out of the year. Even when my folks are very old and gone beyond, will still keep the love of Nigeria in me. Nigeria just need a change of attitude and leadership. She could be the Giant of Africa if the leaders want to do right by the country.

I kinda feel you not intuned with happenings in Nigeria. Save yourself the stress, Nigeria is doomed! Citizens of that country know it is. They taking advantage of each other via religion. I am sure, Nigeria cannot progress 100 years from now. If anyone wants to come-in in a constructive argument, I will debate. Its doomed

They only pray in that country, they dont work. The most wicked they love.

I perfectly understood where you coming from and my Brother and two Sisters feels the same way. I knew guys here in Chicagoland that we went to College together and couple of them are doing fine and one of them is the Chairman of his late father insurance company and if I mentioned his name some people will recognize him. He lives at Re--- Olo----- Street in Parkview. We hang out whenever he comes here on holidays and his wife gave birth to all her children at Prentice Hospital of Northwestern Hospital. My staying is just for couple months or three a year when I decide to retire. Nothing is wrong in Nigeria that cannot be fixed with good leadership and I sincerely believe that.

Mumu man, the only way to get alternate electors verified is by Supreme Court order which has failed.

What will happen now is the electoral votes chosen today will go to Congress. Unless both House and Senate disagree, then the electoral votes will stand.

Democrats own the house so already they will stand.

Even in the Senate, with a majority of only 4, there are enough bold Republicans (read RINOs) that will certify Biden such that both House and Senate will confirm the electoral votes - mind you he only needs House to confirm.

Another thing to remember is that Senators are on 6 year terms and many of them have tenure till 2026 and cannot be as easily bullied as House of Reps who only serve two year terms and are scared shïtless of Trump primarying them in 2022. That's why we saw 126 püssy Republican Reps sign up to that foolish Texas lawsuit but not one Senator.

Keep deceiving yourself. If you knew how democracy works, you would never have let Trump lead you down the garden path with false hopes since November 6th when Biden victory was called. You are a victim of your own ignorance.

Like I told you in an earlier post or posts, Jan 20th 2021 is the d-day. All other activities before that date is just political grandstanding and show-off. We wait for that date and watch events unfold.

Meanwhile, Biden can croon to his goons from Delaware all he can - from his Office of the President Elect, created for him by the corrupt press.

Trump will win.

Still very safe. The current spate of insecurity happening in Nigeria hasnt had a massive toll on the SW like the north and parts of the SS and SE. The Govornors of the SW even had to establish a joint security outfit named AMOTEKUN..So far the Lagos Ibadan highway is still safe and currently undertaking reconstruction and also the Lagos Ibadan train just started.

And also,Overland flies Lagos to Ibadan and vice.versa daily..checked days back and the least air ticket is about 25,000 naira.
