I want to know if a company Manager say for example a Production Manager can sue a union Chairman? This particular person has been issuing a threat to a friend of mine (Production Manager) that he will do everything possible for him to be sacked. Please what advice can I give to my friend to make his Job secure. My friend said he heard the Union Chairman has been eyeing the role of a Production Manager. He wants to go a legal way and seeking my advice if it is possible.

He has been in the organization for long.
He is jealous and eyeing the position. I was told they want to promote him soon and his wish is to be the PM.
I told my friend it could be Office Politics they want to play on him.
