Send the airline an email with your travel route(departure country, destination country and any transit) and ask if a test is required. Ayobami2001: |

Generally, Airbnb would be more expensive if used for long term accommodation. You can confirm by checking the monthly rental average in the city and comparing it to 30days fees for Airbnb. Best wishes Godsblessings: |

Hello, I don’t think anyone can accurately predict your chances. If you believe you can convince the VO why pgcert is the way to go, you can go ahead. I don’t know anything about the college. Hopefully someone in the house can offer a more useful advice. @frankrobbn1 @justmellow @lekkiboboe and others Best wishes mrsmideP: |

Hello Guys, Please does anyone know if and when IRCC will close for the year? I sent my passport to Abuja last Friday and got an email from VFS that it's been delivered to IRCC on Monday for processing. I want to book a flight for January 3rd, not sure if this is a great idea. Will appreciate your thoughts on this. |

Good evening all. I have been a silent follower. Thumbs up and well done to all for the good work. So much information and counsel that has been picked up from This forum. I have an Enquiry about the NSE process. I’m trying to generate bank statement online, the only information requested for is the applicants name. No question about UCI or application number. Is this the same process with others who have generated their statements online. Also I think one is supposed to pick send statement to Embassy. Kindly please help clarify these issues. Thank you. |

@Justwise, we have also called for a thread that is specifically meant for "new students arriving Canada". The "living in Canada" thread is not directly relevant to our situation post-approval. Most of the time, discussions on that page are for PR folks. Please help look into it. Gracias, Chiefo! justwise: 7 Likes 1 Share |

Yes you are correct and on the right path. I hope you are generating it from your own account so you can also select whether you are the sponsor or applicant. At least for GTB, they specify. Best of luck. Yteem: |

Anamekele: GIC is the Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC) Just showing proof of funds CIBC is the bank - Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce that you can obtain a GIC from. You can also get from other banks in canada as well. For payment of school fees, I doubt this would happen as you can only activate your bank account in canada upon arrival if you are using CIBC. 1 Like |
