Club statement: Slaven Bilić
West Bromwich Albion have today parted company with Head Coach Slaven Bilić.

Assistant Coaches, Dean Računica and Danilo Butorović, and First Team Coach Julian Dicks have also left the club with immediate effect.

The Baggies are currently 19th in the Premier League table with seven points from 13 fixtures.

Albion would like to thank Slaven and his coaching staff for their efforts in achieving promotion last season and wishes them all well in the future.

The club will make no further comment at this time.

Also disappointed in Leeds, I was tipping them to be midplace contenders...

The way clubs will sack coaches will be much this season . Pep, Arteta and others should be expecting their sack letters.

Imagine the 5 teams topping the top five leagues in Europe are currently in Europa league.

Clubs don't have time to adapt...

Maybe they did back in the 1980's when the money was not too much (Ferguson took some 4 years to bring Man U a trophy...if he was working njow he would have been sacked)

This is the only thing I hate about the EPL. This here is a coach who worked hard and helped them gain promotion to the EPL last season and just now got fired when the new season is yet to go half. Even the players are just starting to warm up to the challenges of the EPL after climbing up from the championship. I still remember how Ranieri was kicked out of Leicester City just few months after winning the EPL!
Well it is the way it is. Job hazard of a coach. Goodluck to him in the future
