Gazzuzz, radautoworks, Blackbishop una expertise is needed. My car steering was stiff yesterday. I parked and checked everything I could. Later noticed that the abs cable was touching the tyre. I just touched the cable and adjusted it. The car came back to life. Later at night, it became a bigger issue. Instrument cluster went haywire. Speedometer stopped working, brake light came on, steering stiff to turn, Rpm misbehaving, fuel gauge going upandan. I still drove it for about 4 hrs cos of traffic going home.
I scanned the car this morning and saw p0500 speed sensor. I checked the cable again and noticed that it don cut.
I managed to connect it back but the problem persists. Is it possible for the sensor to have damaged prolly for driving car for too long?
What step to take next? I don park am.

So get this issue anytime i forget to remove my bluetooth OBD2 scanner after scanning. Once i remove it the car becomes normal and i clear that p0500. If you left it there after scanning this might be the cause

Car is a VW golf 4 2.0 I have been experiencing oily muddy slugge in the coolant reservoir for months now. Note that oil in engine dipstick appears normal. I was adviced to change oil cooler and oil filter yet problem persists. Kindly offer your assistance.

if engine oil (heat exchange) cooler is not the culprit, you have 3 more possibilities.

Transmission oil cooler (heat exchange)

Bad head gasket

Cracked head cylinder.

My car is a 2007 Honda accord, 4 plugs. Recently noticed that when I put it on in the morning, and switch to drive it delays with about 3 seconds, jerks and then moves.
Happens 1/5 times.

I use the original Honda atf, and change it in due time, last change was Dec 2019, car was barely driven all through 2020.

What could be the issue?

Good evening Gazzuz. Thanks for always being there for us. I visited my brother this evening and all he did was complain about his car. He recently purchased from a previous owner and car has never behaved since. The car is Accent 2014. He complained that the car has poor acceleration and low power and will usually go of when ac is turned on. All these have persisted despite changing coils and plugs. I started engine and noticed car was not idling properly, was just going up and down. Car hesitates a little when pedal is depressed. He also said the car will sometimes just pick a day to behave like brand new. Please what will you advice he checks or change to solve this problem. I was also wondering if you’d be willing to accept the car in your workshop. Thanks

I got a Matrix earlier this year Naija used and switched to Hardex oil for service,(i do not know what the previous owner uses though), two months after, oil light showed and you assisted by telling me to wash the filter at the sump that it is blocked, i did that and kazeem used a 20w50 oil, no issues, now it is due for service again and i am confused on which oil to use,

Should i stick to the 20w-50 or i go back to the 5w-30 synthetic oils?

Bros, i want to put spacers in my 02 sensors (Lexus ES330) because my catalyst was stolen, i read online that it will trick the ECU into believing the catalyst is fine, do you know anywhere in Lagos i can do that??

Nope...just bought it Tokunbo... I've only replaced the catalyst and the 02 sensors...the catalyst was stolen.

Did you get the codes before or after replacing those parts?

They were there when I bought it...we thought it was just a failed oxygen sensor...when we went to check the sensor, we found that the catalyst wasn't even there...
So I bought the catalyst and replaced one of the 02 sensors...the code still refuses to disappear. Though performance is ok, the gas mileage is very poor
