A lady by name Angela Chaja has taken to social media to call out convenant university after the higher institution refuse to release her degree certificate and transcript to her or the school she applied for abroad. According to the lady, she has been calling and begging the university staffs to release her transcript to her since July and even had her husband called the school yet they refused to release her certificate to her.

Damage control without sense. Imagine unimaginable using just 3 days to process their own transcript and covenant is still dragging its feet after weeks.

Covenant school fee ~ N1,000,000 per year = N4,000,000 till your graduate

Honestly I was appalled when I saw her video, I have so many friends processing Canada this year and they got whatever they needed from CU in record time.

Listening to her video, there were so many options she could have explored instead she jumped straight to castigating CU on social media.

Honestly some people go through school but the whole aim of education is defeated in them.

She better come out and reply this allegation. If its clout she is out to get, I hope it backfires.

Oct 12- Law school tells applicant the transcript they received doesn’t have the exact date of graduation so it’s invalid

October 26 - Applicant forwarded email from Law school to CUALA, copying VC, Regsitrar saying that Law school needs a transcript with exact graduation date (e.g., July 7 2007)

Oct 27 - CUALA discussed with Academic Affairs about how to handle this. They decided to send a Certified True Copy of her certificate which carries the exact date graduation date and sign an attestation letter to the law school. CUALA communicated this to applicant on the same day. CUALA did not charge a service fee for this.

Nov 9 - Applicant paid for Certified True Copy of certificate (CTC) + attestation form signing + courier charges and attached a copy of the law school form to be signed by Academic Affairs. She also copied VC, Registrar on this email

Nov 9 - CUALA takes print out of form to Academic Affairs for signing. However the form had her married name instead of her maiden name so the records didn’t match and so Academic Affairs couldn’t sign the form .

In the meantime, the CTC was ready to be sent, but to avoid double courier charges, it was pended.

Nov 17 - CUALA communicated to applicant that law school needs to send a new form with her maiden name

Dec 2 - Law school sends updated form with her maiden name. CUALA prints out and takes to Academic Affairs for processing

My brother, I read and understand everything. The first fault was from the school because they didn't put her date of graduation on the transcript sent. The second fault was from the lady because of change of name. Above all, this two reasons are not sensible enough to re-process for four (4) months. What if you and I were her shoes? What would we do differently after four months of struggling for ordinary transcript? CU can do better.
