Omariah: This is the same with us, my baby girl is also 4weeks old and her eyes are yellow, a jundice test was done after her birth and the paediatrician said there was no jundice. What else could be the cause? 1 Like |

We just did another jundice test and this is what was gotten. I'm confused because the hospital we went to said baby doesn't look like the figures gotten, they asked us to wait 1 more week and repeat the test. We will be going to the hospital tomorrow but I would love to hear from mothers who have experienced this with their LO's

katchycouture: Please ma take that baby to the hospital tomorrow, the baby doesn't have to look like the figures gotten. If they tell you story at a private clinic take her to a govt hospital, if you are in LAGOS take her to the maternal and child care centers. I beg you please. 18 is high abeg oo |

arekky14: Hello Ma'am, This is normal. Please, note that babies on exclusive breastfeeding can poo up to 12 times in a day or not at all for 2 weeks. As far as the poo is normal (yellow/mustard colour and like egusi) there is no cause for worry #ATP moderator on facebook 3 Likes |

Zino89: Hello Zino, my baby is 2weeks now. They said the Jaundice test was not bad, And that it will clear off. But my baby's eyes are not white yet, and my wife is super worried. How long did it take your baby's eyes to clear to white? Did you do anything else? (I have been given so many advise and I am worried also) |

For persistent and difficult to treat jaundice hyperbaric oxygen therapy (hbot) is the solution. HBOT uses 100% oxygen at elevated pressures to treat difficult cases of hyperbilirubinemia. Patient sits down and breathe under supervision of a physician. HBOT eliminates the factors causing jaundice. - improves liver function - normalises blood pH - increases red blood cell stability and prevents it from breakdown -quickly removes toxic buildup from the blood -HBOT extends the lifespan of the red blood cells so there is less breakdown - improves metabolic functions. There are much more positive actions. Kindly do your search. HBOT PROVIDERS |

Good afternoon beautiful mummies in the house. I am new here. Accept me with your beautiful soul and kind heart. I av got some questions to ask. Pls kindly respond MAs. 1. My breast milk isn't lactating well enough and my 4 day old baby is refusing to suck when I try breastfeeding him. Pls mummies, what can I do ma'am? Although, the hospital has told me to start giving him nan1 for the main time. So I started yesterday night. Meanwhile hot amala, ogi, tea are now my major food + my mum mob my breast with hot water morning and night. 2. Is agnesia baby bathing soap good for babies, kindly give review 3. I had a very tiny tear during child delivery which was stitched, how do I care for it to fast track the healing process apart from sitting on disinfected hot water sitz bath Pls mummies kindly respond ma'am. I am a ftm. Delivered on 14/12/2020. God bless u as u respond mas. |

Congratulations! 1. Your baby will suck the milk out. Just keep the breast in his mouth let him keep sucking. The milk will come out eventually...provided your nipple is protuded enough for him to grasp with his mouth. If not, pls massage your nipples and gently pull them out or allow Oga to help you with it. 2. I really don't know. I used Johnson's and noticed my baby was getting rashes so I stopped and started using a local soap and cream. Works well for her. So I advice you try and observe closely. Babies skin and reactions differ. 3. I also need answers to this oo..but so far,I guess the sit baths and disinfectant is your best bet. Deeedeee: 1 Like |

dagok: Hi mama, what soap does he use? My baby was having serious rashes on his body. He was using cussons baby soap. I took him to the hospital and complained to the pediatrician who prescribed "valon" antiseptic liquid for me. My baby's skin is now very smooth. You can also use savlon. |
