I'm so angry at myself. I came to pick my passport today. It's been 12 days and I didn't receive any sms regarding the readiness of my passport.

So I walked in and did what others were doing. Dropping the tiny piece of paper with some numbers. I was running out of patience and decided to meet an officer who will help check if the passport is ready rather than waste my time there.

He said it is not free since I want it fast tracked. He requested for 2k to be hidden inside a paper which I did. As he left, I followed him to join the rest waiting for theirs. Guess what? My name was being called to collect. Don't know where the man is so I can collect my money back. ���

Here from Iggy as he has provided on it.

For fresh passport
U need the below after u pay online.
1. 2 passport photograph
2. Black and white abi black and grey paper file( can be bought there for 50 to 100 naira)
3. Letter of identification from Local Government/State of origin or residence or National Identity Card
4. Completed passport application form
5. Completed Guarantors’ form duly signed by a Commissioner for Oaths attached with Photocopy of Data page of Guarantor’s Nigerian ePassport, National Identity Card and one passport sized photograph of the Guarantor;
U will print out the guarantor’s form online. It is linked to your application so google how to print it when u are done with payment or check my other responses for the link.
6. Marriage certificate, where applicable;
7. Birth Certificate or Age Declaration attached with one passport-sized photograph and duly endorsed by a Commissioner for Oaths
8. Acknowledgement slip
9. evidence of payment slip

Amount for non-enhanced passport is 17,800 naira .goodluck

Please which one is non enhanced passport, what's the difference with that of 25k and how do I find it cus last time I didn't see it as part of the options when I filled my form.

There is no scarcity of booklet anywhwre. go to twitter and look for Nigerian Immigration handle and complain. Ur passport will come out.

Good evening. I was about to download the guarantor form and I noticed that the section with Full Name includes only my first name. My surname isn't there. Is this a problem? I have tried refreshing the page severally. My surname is included in the application form and everywhere else.

Firstly, go online and do your registration. Make sure you select Abuja headquarters as the issuing centre.

Secondly, print it out after your online payment

Write an application for renewal of your passport. Address it to the comptroller general of immigration

Go to the Joseph... Glass House

Ask for where you can submit your acknowledgement receipt

Submit and payment will be verified
Ask for where you can stamp your application letter. It is actually upstairs in the same glass house

Stamp and come downstairs and go straight to the capturing house. It is just before the glass house by your right hand side from the gate.

Go in together with your old passport.

They will give you a number. When u enter, kindly ask anyone where you will submit the application letter, acknowledgement slip etc.

They will try to frustrate u from the gate but persist in doing it along but do so politely.

From the gate, they will be asking them if you have anyone who is doing it for you. You can answer yes, so that they won't be wasting your time.

If they ask you for name, kindly say officer Ngozi for instance.

The most difficult place is the capturing side but be patient. You will pull through.

I advice you dress cooperately to attract maximum respect.

Pls look for segdoo or so On page 172. He had same issue. He has captured now. Email him and find out how he got thru to NIS, his bank and was able to get his payment intact nd he was contacted by immigration to go and capture.

Passport in ABUJA, IKOYI LAGOS AND RIVERS IS 26k... reason tbat it is the new enhanced passport that was launched last year, to obtain this u must have a NIN as it links ur NIN to ur passport and the above centres have rolled out the scheme.
On the passport there is a space for NIN NUM and it is written out there.

Passport in every other centre not listed above is 17,800 as it is the e- pappt not the enhanced one.
No NIN written on data page.

U cnt sign up specially for enhanced e passport if thats what u askin. It is only for those in Abuja, Ikoyi Lagos and Rivers. If u are in these places, when u get to payment u will be charged for it.. if not, u will be charged 17,800

I was captured 27th November, same festac office. But till date no passport, was told there is no booklet.
How come you got your from same office?

Don't mind them. Just check for NigeriaImmigration twitter handle and complain. Ask for the status of your passport and give your Application number on the capture printout and your name. Alternatively you might ask to see the PCO.

So, I finally captured yesterday. Got a "proceed to enrollment" text by 11pm yesterday night...whatever that means.

The servicom guys said I will receive a text when it's time to pickup the renewed passport.

Anyway, when you get to Ikoyi and anyone officer or not - wants to ask you anything, tell them you're there to see Mr ADAMU.

Na free entry - no disturbance

However, there are 3 Mr Adamus at the Ikoyi centre.

- One is an older NIS officer. He's dark and NOT with servicom
- One is a mallam and a hustler who will want to hand you over to another hustler who will charge you to get a file and write application letter
- The Mr Adamu you want to deal with is a younger, slightly fair NIS officer with a red servicom badge on his arm

The servicom unit has a green sign hanging above it with SERVICOM UNIT written on it.

It is closed in a glass casing on the right hand side (about 30m) from the point where you do NIS Covid-19 temperature scan.

It is opposite a building with yellow/orangish oval designs on the white wall.

Between these 2 buildings is the road people walk through.

The NIS-servicom guys there are much younger and very smartly dressed in carton-brown NIS uniform.

Once you're done with the servicom guys, everything else is sequential.

They will tell you where to go next - just adjacent their glass casing office.

There are 8 points you will get to before you enter the capture room. Series of stamping and inspections will be done.

In the capture room, I couldn't help but notice something...

If you're from servicom, (they would have put your documents in an official large NIS file) - there was a silent reverential treatment.

I think they all know that's the legally right path to take and they're being careful.

Hope this helps someone who tries to renew his/her passport in Ikoyi.

No. All passports are Nigerian and accepted

This has been fixed. The man that replied my mail (Mr Usman) fixed it for me. I can now print all I need

No your visa is still valid just get new passport and go along with the 2 that’s all

U dnt need to wait for a msg. Kindly proceed to the office u chose for capturing, go with all ur documents complete pls otherwise their pain that u paid online will manifest strongly.
Commissioner of oaths stamps ur guarantor’s form at customary court or high court, official price is 500 naira. Note that guarantor’s form is for fresh passport applications.
