I have been seeing several posts that *346# can be used to retrieve one's NIN. I have dialed it severally but it doesn't seem to be working. How else can one get the NIN without going to a registration center?

Note: I have the slip for my registration back in Oct 2017. So is the tracking ID on the slip the NIN? Or can I use the ID to retrieve the NIN remotely? Kindly assist

u can use tracking ID to retrieve nin, there is a nimc website to do that, to use ussd, u must use a number u use to registered your nin when you are doing registration

I have done mine. You have to fill the form five times for the five numbers because an OTP will be sent to the number your imputed every time you submit the form. If you put all 5 numbers at once, the system will not be able to decode it.

would be much better and easy if network providers could just send this message to their customers.

I have a national id card that was issued in 2005. There is no NIN written anywhere though i retrieved a NIN through the *346#. The numbers there are Seq Number, ID Form number and Personal number. Am i supposed to register for a new ID Card? I believe the ID card should carry the NIN.

How about glo network? How do we do this in glo.

It's a string of validation code sent to your number during verification or authentication process.

Pls,help o,they asked for OTP,but the funniest thing is that since them the useless network had blocked my phone without sending any OTP. I'm so worried because it's my hot number.
