Depends on your post office. I made friends with the one at mine, tip her sometimes and I've received everything I ordered for even one like that I've already been refunded.

If they wan move your product, it'll most likely not be from your local PO

please house/bosses, I need to know the basic set ups to do on this phone. seems kinda confusing since it's my first time using xiaomi device. should I leave the "find my device" on? e.t.c, just basic settings/stuff. By the way, this battery is super, it's been 89% since 11pm last night(untouched)grin

Just keep operating and checking everything one by one and as well, also come here to ask question on anyone you don't understand. That is how I learnt how to operate the redmi 8a to redmi 8 my first redmi phones.

The person was supposed to sign-out his or her mi account, delete the device from his mi account and reset before selling it.

If none was done and mi account is present, you are sitting on a smoking gun.

Does it boot fully or stops at Redmi logo?

These are questions you should have asked before buying the phone.

What if the phone was stolen and sold to you?

Next time ask the seller to reset it in your presence

Stops at redmi logo 9/10 and then reboots. The one time it booted fully, it went off within a minute.
The phone is very hot right now with no means of switching it off completely
