Good morning Mr Frank. Please I will appreciate if Mr Frank or any other person that can assist helps with this. I applied first week in October and did my upfront medicals. This has been updated to pass on my dashboard although I did not get the NSE request till date. The issue is I did not initially include my sponsor's payslip or employment letter when i submitted my application because he was not in the Country. I only submitted a letter from him on the company letterhead, his statement of account and his Company ID. Is it too late to send the employment letter or pay slip and if I can still do that, can i upload them via my GC key dashboard where it says upload documents or should I upload it via Kenya IRCC webform. Will really appreciate an advise from the gurus in the house please. It is very urgent. |

Uzomachukwu:Hmmmm it seems my case is familiar eehhhh.Okay this is my own case.My program I applied for is starting May 2021 my passport expires June 16th 2021.I submitted my application on the 12th of October 2020 cuz I still have about 9months or so validity on my passport and couldn't renew.I plan renewing January 4th to start the process of renewing I have a family member in immigration passport office who can do a fast process for me as January will make it 6months to Expiry. My issue now is I don't know when IRCC will respond my medical was just updated to PASSED on the 16th of December, Eligibility review and NSE docs review started on the 10th of December fear don dey catch me eehhhh concerning this passport matter ehhh and I stay in Lagos can't travel to Abuja and don't have money for all this police report and co oooo abeg wetin I go do renew by January? |

maestro09:You can only apply with a passport with at least 6 months validity, so if you're is supposed to expire in December and you apply before June then you are good to go, but mind you your study permit will be issued based on the validity of your passport then once you renew it you will get the full permit to cover the entire duration of your program. In other word, if your program is supposed to be for a year, you will get your first study permit (on arrival in Canada) till December, then once you renew the passport you will get the remaining part of it. When do you intend to apply next year? If it is before June then you have nothing to worry about |

awys: You can reach out to your contact at the immigration office and ask about the likelihood of having your passport 'normally' renewed at this time. You know, 7 months and 6 months could as well be seen as almost the same thing, at least in a lawless country like Nigeria. I think (s)he'll give you the cue on how what else to do. But you must overemphasize the urgency to him. It's true that PPR validity is 30 days. If the PPR comes in January, by that time your passport renewal will already be on the way, as such you can webform IRCC, a week before the 30 days elapses, with a very strong letter stating that your passport is being renewed by the Nigerian Immigrations and that you will send it to them as soon as you have your new passport. I believe the renewal should be through before the 30 days elapses, SO LONG AS your contact at the Lagos immigration office is SOMEONE WHO HAS YOUR INTEREST AT HEART. |

awys: I read this again and saw you mentioned 'a family member in immigration passport office'. That's excellent. And 4th January is an early enough date. Remember, this year is as good as spent; IRCC will go on holiday on Monday, I think. So it means no communication from then until 4th, I think (please don't mind me, I think a lot). If that happens to be so, it means PPR will likely not be coming earlier than the date you'll start your passport renewal process. So find out from your 'family member' how long it will take for the new passport to be out—one, two or three weeks? |

Hi, please how did you get your consent form? Please I need help With that. quote author=Popoolam post=97077351]To anyone that wants to give up, I am begging you not to. Believe me, I can understand the mental torture these applications can give someone. I am so thankful, I just received my PPR. It feels like I am just breathing well for the first time in months. I also received the NSE letter, but I submitted only the my Bank statement certificate. In the case of the IELTS, I forwarded them a letter explaining how it was not possible for me to do the exam and get a result before the timeline and attached a waiver letter/mail from my DLI. Please note that this was just my case and I’m not declaring it as Avenue to bypass the IELTS requirement but it is an option in an extreme case. I got my upfront medical uploaded in a few days by bombarding any and all international IRCC mails I could find. I did this as well as the option of waiting for them to pick my web forms I want to thank you all for the relevant information. God bless you Now, onto the passport submission phase. I would really appreciate any and all information I can get on this. The only thing I know at this point is avoid Lagos vfs.[/quote] 1 Like |
