You do know you can email the people who carried out the research, telling exactly what you are saying here. I'm not saying you're wrong asking questions and doubting, it's human of you and all of us. But you are doing it in the wrong forum. It's like your argument is to discredit the op who brought researches carried out to back his claim up. So what you should do first is to prove the research wrong by carrying out yours, whilst emailing the original researchers.
That's how it's done. Don't go around portraying f00lishness thinking you smart. Be smart. Either bring your research that is approved by the appropriate body, to discredit the op, or mailing it to the original researchers, or remaining silent.
