Ghana should preserve their good reputation, Good reputation is the best, they should not copy their Nigerian cousins.

Many Ghanaians have no good reputation. I can tell you first hand. They are just as criminally minded as their brothers all over Africa. In many places in Ghana, a landlord will not allow you to rent his house if he knows you are Nigerian. It is that bad.

We have just finished dealing with two persons who tried to dupe a friend of mine of 4,000 cedis he paid for accommodation. By the time we applied the heat, they were fished out and detained and made to cough out every last pesewa.

Or is it the police that collect 2 cedis from tro tro drivers? Make I no talk abeg.

If you ever have any real estate investment to do in Ghana, be it rent payment or land lease or acquisition, you should be VERY CAREFUL. They are the worst.

They used year of return to deceive a lot of diasporans to come to Ghana. But many of them are starting to see they have been tricked. People are now beginning to catch on.

The guy wey record this video na typical igbo man . Put all you important and cherished item in your hand luggage. This way you will not be bothered who is trying to steal or not. As long as your bag is not with out, just know there is a possibility that someone can steal from you.

They can open your luggage without touching the Padlock, there is a tool they use for the Zip, it will separate it and reconnect it back like it was not touched.
And that Nylon film offers no protection, they use a razor to open a thin line on it and use a Cigarette lighter or any heated iron to put it back in seconds.
Any valuable thing goes into my hand luggage. You cant separate me from that one.

This happened to me 2014, when we landed, i went to pick my bag, lo and behold there were men ransacking each bag looking for god knows what, they now ask me which is mine, i pointed at my bags and took them, i could have pointed at other bags if i wanted to. it was when i got home i noticed they used a sharp obj to cut open my bag to see what is inside.

The shamefaced staff was reportedly busted for stealing a number of electronic gadgets from travellers by security personnel.

It was further learnt that the airport worker who was nabbed with 10 mobile phones, was handcuffed to be taken to the Police station for further questioning.

LOL, sometimes customs open the bags if they suspect something. They leave a note stating that they did open your bag. So wrapping might not help. As for padlock, they have their ways.

Why do people carry luggage without plastic wrap? Pilferage aside, departure airport staff can conceal drugs and other contraband in your luggage if you don't seal it; like that Nigerian lady that almost got executed in Saudi Arabia.
