Please what's the process for applying with a special needs child. What's the medical examination and when is medical passed? Does it affect the study permit approval? She doesn't want to leave her son behind. Amen. To God be the glory |

You'd have to be specific about the information you need.
The name of the institution if possible, how to get the full funding, is Ielts/French required before applying and when to apply. Thank you. |

You'd have to do that work yourself. Google "PhD in Law site:ca" and then explore your options. Personally, I know McGill University, York University, and University of Toronto are top Canadian schools for Law. You may also want to explore University of Alberta and University of British Columbia. As for funding, almost all PhD programs are fully funded but you can mail the specific department to confirm. Many Canadian schools do no need IELTS or any other language test from Nigerians as long as you finished from a Nigerian university. 6 Likes |

For Masters, Let me add that UBC closed on December 1, same with U Alberta. Payment for U Toronto closed December 1 with document upload for January closing. McGill closes December 20 or 21 so you have to hurry. Other schools you can apply to that i know that application for law is on till January 15 is U Saskatchewan and U CALGARY Check out University of Windsor University of Ottawa Queens University And University of Western ontario. For PH.D, I don't know if application closes or its perpetual. |

Goodluck to everyone applying, people awaiting approval and people coming over in the next few weeks. Few tips. Its getting cold, get your sweater/jacket ready. Winter is not child's play. if you are coming to Vancouver area, there is no snow yet but its raining lots. If you can bring paracetamol or anything that relieves headache, please do because you definitely gonna get migraine at some point but if not you can buy advil or tylenol when you get here for 10$ ish
I don't know if this is still a thing with covid, see if you can open a bank account at the airport when you arrive, that way you don't have to worry about it later.
Get your SIN from service canada asap. you need it to work
Sort out your logistics, get a bus pass. most schools have student discount. Start working on getting a Canadian driver's license as soon as you can, it's very important. Lastly if you are coming to Vancouver area. I can pick you from the airport if you are on a budget. And any other thing you might need in the first few days. it can be stressful for some people. 45 Likes |

Thanks for all we do here; it goes a very long way. I have made friends on here this past 1 year and I also made lifelong friend on the US student thread 11 years ago. No consequences of not summiting sir, summiting the requirement is just a way to fasten her application under 20 working days against the normal processing time of 2 month plus. So once your wife does not meet up with the deadline for NSE requirement, her application would be processed through the normal route.
Good luck to her and every expectant of goodnews
