joshmee4real:it means that the money is too huge to transfer direct to your account, all you have to do is go to your bank branch office to fill form and pay charges before the money will be released. 2 Likes |

Payment processors like Payoneer and co will now require you to link a domiciliary account instead of Naira account. This policy rigmarole will only affect common Nigerians. For you to access the money, you must approach your bank and withdraw the dollar, then, take it to a BDC and change into Naira. Nawao, these guys are really messing with Nigerians. 2 Likes |

I've never seen a criminal CBN as well as a government like what we have now. When you send money they'll debit you and also debit the person that receive it. Very wicked CBN and FG. 2 Likes |

This is not good, especially at this time of the year. Some of us have naira accounts in Nigeria that we transfer money to and then distribute to others from that account. Anyway, Azimo is still sending in naira, albeit at a much lower rate than before. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

modsAREuselesss: When money comes from abroad and spreads in Nigeria with immediate bank conversion, most fraudsters use ATM or other means to withdraw without entering inside the bank. This dollar policy will warrant you to enter inside the bank and boom, police will arrive. There are too many other things I see, but let me keep mute. It's too early to say them. 3 Likes |

obiekunie2:It means instead of sending Money directly to your account from abroad, converted and paid into your account when used international money transfer services like western union, money gram, ria money, etc., sending money directly to your account or mobile wallet is currently disabled. You can only receive money via money transfer services like western union, money gram, etc. and when the money is sent, your bank will pay you cash in dollars. So if you have someone abroad that wants to send you money, tell them to send it through transfer services like western union and tell them to specify it.. “cash pick up”. Make sure you have a valid id for pick up. 1 Like |

The reason for this policy is to flood the market with hard currency so as to reduce the current exchange rate which has hit the roof as a result of scarcity of dollars. 2 Likes |

Search for Eversend on playstore. Get verified. Fund your wallet using your card abroad. Then send to yourself via the app into your local bank account. Their exchange rate is way better than interbank rates. Tats: 3 Likes 1 Share |
