The best way to locate PhD students is to visit the website of the department and look through their list of PhD students. Almost all departments maintain such a list. From there, you can mail the students and ask what you want. Most of them do reply.

Okay I am back from hunt

See attachment below, we have a testimony from someone here who tried it and it worked perfectly and on the verge of receiving his or her visa, so fear not. Do your bits and leave the rest on God, Prayer remains the key.

Good afternoon guys. I arrived Canada a few hours ago and still waiting for my connecting flight to Newfoundland.

The flight was lllloooonnngggg. Ethiopian airlines is so cheap and underrated. Please try it if you have time for the stopovers.

I know you can't generalize but the border officials and immigration personnels were super nice. The guy even came to the queue, took our documents (LOA, Tuition receipt, passport and the Declaration card we filled on the plane )and issued our permits without stress. When I went to check in my luggage, the attendants were so humble and attentive.

My guys don limme go Vancouver sha. Arriving St John's after midnight.

Still so speechless I don't know what else to say

Please let's try to read up whenever we ask questions to see if they have been attended to. @MrsFavour2020 has done justice to your question already : No consequences of not summiting sir, summiting the requirement is just a way to fasten her application under 20 working days against the normal processing time of 2 month plus. So once your wife does not meet up with the deadline for NSE requirement, her application would be processed through the normal route.
Good luck to her and every expectant of goodnews
WHAT GOD CANNOT DO, DOES NOT EXIST. THANK YOU JESUS.
Has your wife ever sat for IELTS exam and scored at least 6(overall)? if yes then she can submit that to IRCC so her application can be processed within 20 working days as opposed to the present processing time of around 32 weeks.

Can someone explain to me what this tuition receipt needed at the POE is? I paid my tuition via e-pay and I don't have that receipt. What I have is the school's receipt. That is my account summary showing the fees I paid for my winter term? Would this be enough? Thanks

Please I’m filling my arriveCan form and I don’t know what this part means,
I’ll be staying at a 3 bedroom Airbnb with other people most likely, that means it’s a group living environment right?

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by badmanjo(m): 10:36pm On Dec 19, 2020
It would be housing different families so it's definitely a group living environment

Hi Kimkalash,
It sounded like you had a great journey and It's exciting to know there wasn't any hassle. Did the study permit come with a work permit?

Wishing you the best over there
