You can check now, looks like it has finally landed.
freeman67:

Unfortunately, it didn't land today. Tomorrow is weekend so I will have to start hoping again on Monday. It's now added to my investment mistakes of 2020. I will never use Morgan for such investment again except they are the issuing or main partners/ collection house for the FG.

http://www.businessdayonline.com/NG/index.php/news/76-hot-topic/34209-nigeria-auctions-n150bn-tbills-with-364-day-yield-rise

Nigeria sold 150.09 billion naira ($953.56 million) worth of treasury bills this week at a regular debt auction with yields on the 91-day and 182-day bills falling, while the 364-day yield inched higher, the central bank said on Friday.

The bank sold 42.97 billion of the 91-day treasury bill at a 14.18 percent marginal rate, down from 14.80 percent at the previous auction, the regulator said in a statement.

It sold 50 billion naira worth in the 182-day bills at 15.48 percent compared with 15.50 percent previously, and 57.12 billion naira worth of the 364-day instrument at a marginal rate of 15.57 percent versus 15.55 percent at the last auction.
The 364-day papers attracted the highest subscription, with investors bidding for a total of 160.58 billion naira. Traders said most off-shore investors prefer investing in the longer-dated bills.

Total demand stood at 328.78 billion naira compared with 476.86 billion naira at the last auction. Nigeria, Africa's second biggest economy after South Africa, issues treasury bills regularly as part of monetary control measures to help lenders manage their liquidity.
does this mean that treasury bills interest rate is now high?

All the sukuk coupons coming in batches is really surprising to me. Although I got mine in the afternoon on 16th, I find it uncomfortable to read about the delays. I have never experienced this with all bonds. There is need to make enquires to know why this happened. One day without my money is a loss to me.

Considering that we are expecting another sukuk rental payment next week, I have to dig deep because I don't want this delay to happen to me.

I did all my sukuks with lotus capital and the rentals have never missed the payment dates.

Pls let's know if there are any outstanding rentals for last week and the broker used.

Forget Trustee partnership arrangement, are they registered by SEC as a fund manager?

There are different types of registrations by SEC, for issuing houses, Investment banks, Trustees, corporate law firms, reporting accountants, estate valuers, fund managers etc

Risevest have stated severally that the trustee arrangement was made directly under the approval of SEC Nigeria who confirmed this is the best arrangement for the company. But to fulfill all righteousness, i will liaise with SEC directly and get back to you.

Are you aware of SEC directives to Chaka? Send a mail to SEC to confirm the status of Risevest.

The fact sheets is per quarter. It's the Q3 that is available. Waiting for Q4.

From the pix you posted, it seems it is not as guaranteed as you make us believe.

Although the post is not so clear but I saw something like 4.25 %
Please throw more light on this.

By guaranteed it means whatever is stated as SDF which VGIF rate is benchmarked with you have it. It's not daily valued.
In the report I posted the rates are prorated as per the period under review.
You can see that rate from July to December is stated as 3.75 ie six months. Multiplying by 2 gives 7.5 for the year
The only time rates are changed is when the CBN changes the value of SDF.
Please also note that there is no WHT on the interest earned.

No three months?

No three months?

It's same thing 7.5 is for a year and for a quarter 7.5 divided by 4. In practice the rate is actually prorated to daily. So you earn interest daily including weekends and public holidays as long as your funds remains in the investment.

Yes it is very true that a day without payment is a loss and today will make it about 6 days loss on that rent for me. However, I have discovered what went wrong and I am trying to see how it can be corrected. The fault is neither from me nor Morgan as I thought implied.

It is an error from CSCS. They did not input my account number correctctly hence the transaction failed. In the transaction status It was showing Invalid Nuban Number. I don't know how fast they treat complaint but it is something that could be done immediately.

I think Lotus Capital is the primary custodian and so all their transactions go at once and on time, the others are probably secondary and so have to go through some hops hence the delay.
I did with both Morgan and Lotus and notice the delay in Morgan whereas Lotus was on time.

How much is the property, the value will determine if the price is okay.

If you think you can do the letter yourself, go ahead
