There is confusion surrounding the death of alleged staff of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka at Trig Point Hotels Nibo.

The 23 years old Chinecherem Nwankwo allegedly drown at the hotel's swimming pool Sunday.

Circumstances surrounding the death of Chinecherem is still suspicious.

An eye witness said he was the only son and child of his surviving parents. He was from Orumba, Anambra state.

Chinecherem fondly called Chyboy by his peers was said to be a great diva and therefore impossible to have drowned at the pool.

They suspected a foul play but efforts to get the hotel management to react to the true reason why he died based on their investigation so far failed.

His cousin Cronel Onyedikachukwu Nkemakonam, a facebook user said:

I still don't know how to join in spreading this kind of news! My cousin Chinecherem Nwankwo passed on at Trig Point Hotel, Nibo swimming pool? How ? An only son? Just like that? At 23? Which kind talk be this � what is happening! Chy boy is pro diver as far as I know! No trace of water! No bruise! Its well. Rest in peace nnaa.

When www.odogwublog.com visited the Trig Point Hotels Nibo, the manager was said not to be on seat as no one wanted to speak to our correpondent .

Chinecherem and parents are Awka residents until his untimely death.

Who did he went there with?

What time did he check-in and how long did he stayed in the hotel before he was found dead

Did he drink?..What kind of drink?
What the depth of the pool?

These question couldn't help arrive at a certain bossible conclusion before the investigation

Never say that, even a good diver can drown if he hit his head on the pool tiles and this is very possible if you are swimming and alcohol is involved

I'm so scared of water...the thought of being inside covered from head to toe alone sends shivers down my spine.

Domestic accidents can never be envisaged that's why i tell people to never isolate themselves when in any activity.....Life is too sweet and interesting to loose it because of an avoidable mistake!!!

Being a diver or good swimmer doesn't mean you can't drown in a pool or water. Many things can go wrong while swimming. Like heart attack, muscle pull or cramps, hypothermia, etc. Someone with underlying medical conditions can be susceptible too in such circumstances.....

Fact is many good swimmers have died while swimming.

So blaming the hotel Mgt of foul play simply because he was a good swimmer is not logical. They can be blamed for negligence if the pool doesn't meet required safety standards, no life saving equipment, and no lifeguards around(and notice of such missing)......
