Sammy07:A place a member of Benin Royal family is the Enogie /Duke of? That Iyase of Warri Kingdom, Chief Johnson happens to live in Ologbo does not make it Itsekhiri land. I knew the late Duke well, a brilliant medical doctor, father of the current Duke. Ikaye has no history in Benin. Let alone helping Benin defeat and behead Deji Arakale of Akure in 1818 as a few Itsekhiri now claim. Land fight is very common in Delta. Urhobo v Ijaw, Itsekhiri v Urhobo, Ijaw v everyone whether Ogoni, Benin, Yoruba, etc. It was the Arinjale of Uhen who delivered the escaping Arakale to General Ezomo of Benin Empire in 1818. 1 Like |

Nchenches: When £ and $ was less than that and when Nigeria made the largest revenue from oil in the history of Nigeria under GEJ and PDP, they did not build anything, no road, no bridge, nothing, all they did was looting and stealing, but now that you are crying over £ that you don't have and can not spend in your village, PMB is commissioning major projects left and right. Lagos Ibadan railway was abandoned and left on the drawing board for 13 years, OBJ abandoned it on the drawing board, Yaradua ignored it on the drawing board, GEJ didn't even bother to touch it, but PMB started and finished it in less than 4 years. Fastest railway construction in the history of Nigeria. 30 years abandoned Warri Itakpe nko? PMB finished it in less than 4 years. 26 years abandoned Zik mausoleum kno? PMB finished it in less than 2 years. 2nd NB nko? 16 years of PDP and even Jona did not deliver anything, but I can't wait for PMB to show up and commission the 2nd NB in 2022. Now, of what relevance is your £ and $ if at the end of the day, Nigerians benefited nothing from it? Please, go and sit down somewhere. 2 Likes |
