orlahtohbadt: No problem. We can also discuss here for other lower graders to learn. Now that you have 2.74/4 which is a lil bit above the minimum GPA requirement of 2.5/4 for most safe schools. Lets talk about your other profile. 1. Have you written GRE?. If yes, what is your score? 2. What is your proposed course of study?. 3. Have it in mind that you have a very slim chance for funding, do you have sponsor or personal funds for backup just incase you are unable to get funding? 1 Like |

Muleriders:I haven't written the GRE but I plan on doing early next year as I have been preparing for the exam. I plan on doing a program in Computer science or any related program as I have a degree in Mathematics. I noticed the COA for masters in computer and information science in SAU is $15k, I should be able to get a sponsor plus my personal funds to go through the process. |

orlahtohbadt: Cool. I'm delighted you have done background research ,and i am more delighted that you have considered SAU as part of your options. Ace a higher score in your GRE of 300+ to stand a GA chance. I will also suggest you check out other good ranked rural universities and hbcu's. Your proposed program is stem, you may be fortunate to get little funding. |
Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 15 by Muleriders: 4:51pm On Dec 23, 2020 |
obajoey: 3.38/4 You stand a better chance for partial or full funding depending on your other profile. Start working by searching for schools that offers your proposed course on google, narrow your research by checking the websites of the schools in your basket to read about funding eligibility, send emails to the program cordinators or directors for funding enquiries. 2 Likes |

Please has anyone had their interview days for nextweek being rescheduled to first week of January? I just got a mail and my interview was shifted from 28 December to 5 January and I'm wondering why? [Hello I also have my interview date slated about this same date as yours, but I didn't get any reshedule email from the Consulate. Just to be sure, which email address did you receive the reshedule notice by? So I can use it to run a search on my personal email. I'll really appreciate. Thanks.] |
