European transmission is a nightmare

I'd rather do something less known and more hotter. The civic hatchback.

The second pix is not european but asian and international market. It is also the Acura CSX in canada ( those in naija were bought brand-new except for the Acura CSX)

The pix kingreign posted is the European market variant also known as the sportier honda Civic (mostly used by sahara coy for it's workers in Nigeria, the rest are imported but it is scarce to come by)

All the vehicles share same parts in engine and transmission, I don't believe it has anything different especially the NA and the international version nah only body shape different. I have not studied the european civic it may have some difference especially engine.

Thanks nurey but someone said the "Asian spec" has tranny issues.

I also read elsewhere that they are mostly converted from LHD to RHD, hence can not be better than the US spec.

You are not listening to what I am saying, look at all the 8 gen civic in Nigeria and tell me which one you see most on the road. The Asian/international market civic is solid I have not heard of transmission issues except it is owner induced due to very poor maintenance.

I don't understand the conversion you are talking about, the Asian you see, 90+% were bought brand-new not used abroad and imported to Nigeria, it is tear nylon in Nigeria so expect that those unit are LHD by default.

We don't import much from Asia and australia where the Asian/international come from so it's possible a few numbers came in as tokunbo, very limited number (not including the CSX because it is easily distinguished from the civic) it's possible those came in as RHD.

But in general, civic whether Asian, NA or european of the eight generation doesn't have gear issues what's more JDM cars are far better than NA so why will I leave the Asian market vehicle for a NA own.
