Niger State Assembly's First Female House Leader Impeached

Binta Mamman, the the first female majority leader and the only female in the Niger state House of Assembly has been impeached, IgbereTV reports.

The female lawmaker was impeached by members of the house of assembly during the plenary on Thursday December 24.

An official statement revealing why the former leader was impeached or the number and names of the lawmakers that supported the action against her is yet to be released by the house of assembly.

The mallams in the assembly may have become tired of always getting a hard on whenever she stood up to address them so they removed her and put her in some back seat before things got out of control

Very foolish state with backward leaders...power state with 3 dams yet they give its citizens light for just 4 hours daily, bad roads,no single development or investment, a place that houses 2 former military presidents both alive with no significance to the state.....if you ever come to minna for nycs pls live immediately you are done else you will waste your time and destiny here and if you were born here please live once you clock 20 else you will not go too far in knowledge and wealth
