Turkish airline have cancelled their UK flight from now till 25th of December.

I applied for a transit visa(priority),I should get a decision in 5working days right?okay,I applied on 21st(biometrics done).
My scheduled flight is on 30th December and due to the public holidays this week and next week,30th December should be the 5th day I should receive my decision,I don’t think I will be able to fly same day if my visa is approved. I am a bit confused, should I cancel my flight and reschedule or what?
Please any suggestions

mojohnny Have you tried tracking it using the TLS app from the Playstore? That should be your first port of call.


Yes he has the app in his phone and constantly checking. It's at stage two which is decision making center since 9th November.

I arrived the uk today thanks guys for all the advice , I was a bit unlucky with the immigration guy I meet, tried every trick in the book to send me back home (asking for how I paid for my flight ticket and reciept if possible ),anyways I'm greatfull for the guidance.
Also I flew virgin and did not need covid
test .

I was reading the comments on this forum from recent travelers on how calm the border have been ....to my surprise..it was opposite.. even the guys on my left and right where been drilled hard. Both where nigerians ..one lost his temper and started raising his voice..
Funny..I never saw those guy again even though I spent almost an extra 30min looking for a cab...I hope they where not sent back.

Na so we dey do,small thing them don vex. When I travelled to Georgia they quickly stamped my passport but they started interrogating my husband asking for his employment letter,his hotel (of course they called)but all through he remained calm and he was stamped 15 minutes later ,and the other guy was sent back home. No be everything be by vex and shouting
