hotwax:Ok put that aside. You ppl have zero understanding of Northern complexity. Chief of Defence Staff and Chief of Naval staff are from south while NCS boss Hamid Ali belongs is Jarawa from Bauchi NIS boss Babandede is Hausa from Jigawa NAF boss Sadiw Abubakar is Fulani from Bauchi NPF boss is from Lafiya Nasarawa state and I can't ascertain his tribe but he's neither Hausa nor Fulani. If u spread the appointment it can be seen that it's cut across NW, NC and NE. |

Some forces are using ethno-religious diversity of Nigeria to create dangerous accusations & conspiracies which are far from the truth. Those enemies of peace logically use the current predicaments of Nigerian to blame some tribes or religious group for the failure of Nigeria not knowing that all the groups collaborated in gang raping the nation. Those inciting Nigerians along ethno-religious line know very well that some gullible are so dumb enough to accept anything trash feed into their head. Below is the data that calculated the years Nigerians are ruled under religious, ethnic and geographical location considerations. 60 years since independence, Nigeria was ruled by: 11years Obasanjo- Yoruba 9 years Yakubu Gowon-Angas 8 years IBB-Nupe 6 years GEJ-Ijawa 6yrs Nnamdi Azikwe-Igbo 5 years Abacha-Kanuri 7 years Buhari (+2yrs military regime)- Fulani 3 years Shagari-Fulani 2yrs Yaradua-Tuarek 6 months Agunyi-Ironsi-Igbo 2years Murtala, Shonekan & Abdussalam-Fulani, Yoruba & Hausa. If calculated along religious line, it can be seen that Nigeria was ruled under Christians Presidents for atleast 32years while Muslims Presidents ruled for 28 years. When calculated along geographical location, it can be seen that South ruled for almost 24yrs while North rule for almost 36yrs. Yoruba ruled for approximately 12years, Fulani ruled for less than 11yrs, Angas ruled for 9yrs, Igbos ruled for 6yrs, Ijaw had 6yrs, Kanuri had 5yrs, Nupe had 8yrs, Tuarek had 2yrs while Hausa had 1year only. North-Western presided Nigeria for about 17yrs, South-West presided for about 12yrs, North-Central enjoyed approximately 18yrs, South-South presided for 6yrs, South-East had 6yrs while North-East are still struggling to get to the apex position and still not agitating for it. Going by the logical distribution of power along ethnic and religious line it can be seen that accusing only one particular tribe for Nigeria's failure is just a deliberate tactics by desperate power mongers and children of hate to put us into ethno-religious conflicts. Since 1999 to present, two southern presidents used almost 14 years out of the 21 years and yet we southerners still complain of Fulani dominance everywhere like babies throwing tantrums. If the two southern president could be foolish enough not to make things right for southerners, how is that the Fulani man’s fault? |

If the two southern president could be foolish enough not to make things right for southerners, how is that the Fulani man’s fault? |

tsdarkside:Two things make up our economy, (oil and taxes) The south south supplies oil The bulk of trade tax comes from south west and east. In North their main stay is agriculture (how much does this country export in agriculture) The North doesn't pay tax on cow and the petty private trades of commodities. Yet the North disallows alcohol etc from its market of 60% population. But the North which makes up 60% of population collects budget and brewery tax for its 19 parasitic states. This money goes into paying salaries for northern teachers, civil servants and establishing projects like roads that affect the ordinary northern (not just politician). The North is emershed in a Boko Haram war which takes up 80% of our general security welfare (security which the Niger Delta that produces the resources doesn't get). Bandits are now been paid ransome left and right. Almajiris special schools was wasted on North alone because it has become a problem to itself. North is spending billions of Niger Delta money to search a non existent crude oil in northern desert. Billions is wasted every time just to appease north eg the refinery they took to far Kaduna where the oil is supposedly in far Warri I can go on 2 Likes |

Racoon: Americans, from the voters on the street to the Supreme Court, have just defended their country against government. But such feat by Americans is not possible in Nigeria due to ethnoreligious bigotry. Today, bigotry has pulled some sections of the north and west of Nigeria together about dumping zoning of the presidency. Some people in the SW clamour for zoning the presidency to the south. But in that south, these set of Yoruba negate zoning, because it’s turn of the SE to benefit from zoning to succeed PMB. Clamour for zoning but denying zoning at the same time. |

Of all the presidents that Nigeria ever had in my lifetime, the only one I respect is Goodluck. You may ask me why and I will tell you. It was not because the economy was doing great or security and infrastructure any better under his time. It was not even because he didn't seat tight despite a severely flawed and rigged election by APC. (both parties rigged but APC Out rigged PDP). It was because it appears that he kind of had taken time to understand the major problem of Nigeria and was making an attempt to fix it by organizing the National Confab. Even though the endeavor failed. It shows he was a thinking man and attempting to make a step in the right direction. The problem with Nigeria is structural. We need to negotiate our existence in a just and fair manner even if we must co exist. Biafra a need to decide. Yorubas need to decide. Fulanis and Hausa need to decide. Hausa etc. This creation from the Queens palace is not working. It served the interest of the Queen of England which was the purpose of its creation in the first place. But is it serving the interest of majority of those that call themselves Nigerians today, save a few that have connered all the oil wells and resources? As financial times has alluded. Nigeria is gradually tending to a failed state. It's either we peacefully negotiate our Co existence or split or it will happen naturally and unpeacefully. As it currently stands,Nigeria is just a stochastic experiment by the Queen of England. |

was it not the same Catholic Church that was used by the Northern Oligarchy to sow seed of discord in CAN? They fought GEJ through fighting the outspoken Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor whose outspokenness was a threat to the Northern Warlords. They never knew things could turn this bad against them. Let us always be careful of our actions in this Life. |
