Is there no safe route from Yola to Maiduguri? From your posts, it seems you returned back to Gombe from Yola and connected Maiduguri via Nafada - Potiskum - Damaturu road.

There is but you will have to go through mubi, then askira uba and then demboa before landing in Maiduguri. Not advisible to go through that route.
