Arguably the finest public health facility in Nigeria.

Yet buhari & family fly abroad for treatment & Abba Kyari died in a Lagos hospital. Can ganduje receive treatment in these hospitals?

Good luck to Kano residents.

Op, infrastructural development is good, but the true test of development is measured in access to health, education, and how even resources are distributed in the society.

Kano has the land mass, water bodies to support sufficient vegetation, yet herdsmen keep going to other states to fight farmers over their land.

The hypocrisy of the North is legendary.

it's always a good sight to see development in any part of Nigeria. However, I applaud these with reservations because I don't see the use of building a modern city where you still practice unjust practices such as killing one because they said or did something you feel is blasphemy.

As southern Christian, I would always feel uncomfortable in such an environment.
Then stay in your south. Did anyone invite you to the north.

South of jungle justice. The kind of intolerance and hatred I faced when I visited South East is undescribable.

Many people there are worse in mentality than beasts. No insult meant, just narrating my experience.

@Nightalan and Arrewa..

What does Kano bring to the federation account and yet it gets large share from VAT and taxes...

Below is NBL at 9th Mile in Enugu...They produce beer, but I can assure you that Kano gets more from these business than Enugu, even when you destroy the product.

This is the reason we want restructuring so you can only gain from what you produce.

The 1999 constitution is drafted to favour the north.

Is like Edo getting more from Zamafara GOLD. cheesy cheesy

But you guys see nothing wrong with injustice in Nigeria.

Look at what Nigerians celebrating.

In the land of the blind.... You know the rest.

Some even celebrate installation of transformers and boreholes as though they are groundbreaking.

Most of them have been made to get so used to mediocrity that any little thing achieved is monumental... We can only pity them! If only they knew how cheated and deprived they are.

Bayelsa have one of the largest location in Nigeria with a low population, it's not the job of Jonathan to build all this in Bayelsa,it's the job of the state governor.

We were on a site seeing at the new and Nigeria's first ultra-modern Agro-commodity market in Gezawa, Kano, which was constructed at the cost of 4.5B Naira.

It is placed as a one-stop market for agriculture and it's value chain, aimed at diversifying the economy of Kano state.

Built at d cost 4.5b naira...na wa oh. And d place is empty. With that construction cost, does d place have external cooling system?

Nice one there, kano. Ganduje is the man.
Hope our S.W politicians are seeing this. We can't be satisfied with Lagos alone posting development here and there; our other states must step up to be counted too.
The north ain't contented they have Abuja, rather they keep pushing for more with Kano, Kaduna and even Niger States posting serious developmental projects.

How do you bowel carrying alamjiris sleep at night, with this level of cheating?

Its like broad day armed robbery...

Still doesn't change the fact that it's filled with extremist and useless hisbah police looking for infidels to arrest . Nothing of significance happens there. Everything is in the south. If it's not Lagos, Portharcourt, Owerri, Onitsha, Uyo or Ibadan, it's not worth my gaddamn time and money

I wouldn't even come to Nigeria at all if I had to choose. Unfortunately, I must come, and there is a chance I could be sent to Kano for an extend period against my will.

But then don't you think the bolded really describes the north better? Who is more murderous and bestial than boko haram? What of fulani herdsmen? What of bandits who kidnap hundreds of school children?

Don't you know that two of top 10 most murderous terrorist groups are found in northern nigeria? Where in the South have you heard of moslems being killed for their religion? So which intolerance?

I'm rather confused.

These are all audio development, investment in primary education and healthcare will reduce the 13 million Northern Nigerians out of school. Kano should invest in a state police service that can encourage private investment and get rid of the Hisbah.

What's there in your North that has never been seen before? You sit down there in your impoverished north and be thinking the world begins and ends there! Rubbish, travel,.....and you will see why people keep mute while their countries or locations are being developed seriously by their governments the world over!
Re: Updates On Development In Kano State (Photos) by AMvanquish: 2:44pm On Dec 27, 2020
In Kano, It's just building flyovers and selling lands that Ganduje knows. Selling every available plot to friends & family. Who in his sensible mind would sell a prayer ground, schools etc to business cronies.
With the allocation Kano gets, things can be far far better.
OP tried in portraying Kano in Good light but things can be alot better honestly.
