lentomac:If that's the reason I think it's valid you can go then with proof that you will be doing some certification's related to your course they should understand my concern is just a valid and genuine reason to go months before your resumption if it's part of your study program then I think it would fly .All the best!!! |

My wife and daughter not allowed to fly to Canada via Lufthansa yesterday. Please learn from my mistake. My wife was cleared after presenting several documents, Eg. A valid job offer in Canada, while my daughter was not allowed to fly, an infant of 3 yrs old. SOWP visa application was made to together with my kid application, upon approval, my wife Visa annotated as Worker, while my daughter's Visa annotated Visitor. Due to his annotation, my daughter's was not allowed to fly. Visitors are not allowed to come to Canada. We spent over 4 hours explaining that they are not coming as a visitor, the kid is a dependent. Lesson, Make sure u get all requirements on ground like a JOB offer, spouse Pay Subs, Accommodation, Copy of husband permit, exemption to fly letter, Authorization letter ( Apply 14 days earlier before departure) ArriveCan App, etc. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

lentomac:like @awys said, you have to think about the step before taking it. From what you just said, I think you can explain to the immigration officer you want to know the city more and also intend to run a course that will give you an edge before school resumes (you have to show proof of it as well). Mind you, all these means more money to be spent, so you need to make proof of fund available just in case they ask you. Also, your family friend can write a letter stating he will cover all your expenses within that 3 months and the said course will be online. |

OtunbaTee: Tomorrow is public holiday for IRCC offices world over. Since 26th fell on a Saturday, they moved their own boxing day to 28. So if there's to be any good news, it could be from Tuesday, I think. 2 Likes |

princejunaid: Planning to apply for January intake? Please defer to the next intake because the proccessing time for nigerian applicants should be around 3months or even more due to covid. I'll advice you to defer. All the best. 1 Like 1 Share |

Bros it’s too late. Just defer your admission and apply for your SP as soon as possible so you can have enough time. princejunaid: |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by awys: 5:08pm On Dec 27, 2020 |
princejunaid:I don't think you will pay just mail the admission department that the timeline is short for you to get response from IRCC that you would like to defer then they will tell you the steps to take or reissue another acceptance letter effecting the new idate |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Uriel12: 5:37pm On Dec 27, 2020 |
Qcanvs38mimi: The student visa is different from the visit visa. So it will still need to be stamped. Hope this helps. |
