I think there’s something Martial has been offering that no one else in the team can. He kinda links up the midfield wirh attack. He’s playing like a 10 these days. Had a flurry of assists. It’s weird.

Ole has successfully frozen most of the serial underperformers out of the team. That is one very good thing he has done that is deliberately ignored by most people.

Greenwood is a kid so I am not going to blame him too much. I just hope he picks form again and starts firing on all cylinders. I know he will surely come good.

Martial’s hold up/link up play is the best amongst our young forwards. Only Cavani has better holdup play and movement than him and Cavani cannot start every match.

Honestly the only fault I see in Martial now is his finishing. Once he finds his scoring boots, he will be appreciated more.

How many games has he played for the national team? There is not enough tape on the guy to get excited IMO. If other people want to get excited it's their right. I will see him when he gets here.

This Shoretire sha. I still think they are rushing the boy too much. He is 16 and even though his recent growth spurt has saved him form Angel Gomes predicament he is still relatively small. They should keep him (and Mejbri) from the first team until next season.

Fish has been outperforming Mengi lately so i am not really surprised that they want him to train with the first team. I think he too needs to wait until next season though.

Footballers are like the rest of us in that we all have different levels of drive. Eating right, sleeping right, putting in extra training. Things that are second nature to a player like CR7 may seem like unnecessary punishment for players like Shaw, Rooney, Cassano.

If we sell Telles tomorrow and don't get a good replacement Shaw's form will drop again to a level just adequate to keep his shirt. The fat boy has no shame.

Alaba has complained for many years that he doesn't want to play LB he wants to play in Midfield but for Austria where he plays midfield he is not very good there

He was disappointed that Kimmich who came into the team after him was given the midfield role

I like Alaba but not as a midfielder and his plays as an LCB is suspect defensively though very good in build up play and passes from the back

Thank you. I don't like what I have seen from him in midfield and as a LCB, you're so right with what you wrote...That leaves him as a LB where I wouldn't want United spending money on again.

Don't disturb yourself, Man utd is not signing him or anyone in the January transfer window. Mr Woodward don drop the hint about it before. Na defender they want to sign in the Summer.

Also to be fair, we have enough of CB in the team already and before anyone is brought in, some of those deadwoods like Rojo and Jones will be sold , which might not happen till next summer.
The club na business, and na the wage bill of those deadwoods that they will use in balancing their books when they make new signing.

Except we magically offload those two guys against all odds in the January TW, then January might be possible for signing new CB

Thiago was a known sicknote who played one very good season and everyone jumped on him
Alaba is a good guy, he doesnt get injured a lot though he has a lot of mileage, he has been playing regularly for almost a decade without any major injury.

His main problem was his agent who wanted more money and him not wanting to play LB

Agreed. Cavani can’t be a starter because of his injuries. So, Martial. No kid has impressed enough to start at CF.

Brandon Williams didn’t play well in his last couple of appearances. It’s possible he’s dropped down the pecking order.

Do you see them in training almost daily like the coach? Why are you assuming that it is seniority that makes Ole play Tuanzebe at right back rather than Williams. What is that assumption based on?

Ole has ditch DNA, i think pressure has forced him to get small sense. I still prefer Brandon Williams on the right as AWB's deputy sha, Greenwood should sort himself out quick and return to his best. We have a very good squad of player to challenge for the title and even win it this season, the manager and players just need to believe in themselves.....
