I am not a Bible scholar but mentions about the half brothers and sisters of Jesus Christ abound in the Holy Bible.

A few of these scriptures are,

Matt. 12:46; 13:55;

Mark 6:3;

Gal. 1:19

Lemme see how you plan to twist these scriptures to buttress your lies about Mary being a virgin till her death.

At age 12 we read in the scriptures that Joseph took his family to Jerusalem {Luke 2:41-52} Joseph trained Jesus to take up his craft just as Jews always teach their children their handiworks.
The question is
Did Joseph lived all his life without having sex with the girl he married?
Was that his intentions when marrying her?
After Jesus' birth (which Joseph never partake) is it now right or wrong for him to enjoy his wife?

Well Joseph surely had sex with Mary and they had several children after Jesus four boys and some girls {Matthew 13:55-56} Mary was grieved when she became a Christian, Jesus asked Apostles John to take her in and treat her like his own mother {John 19:26-27 compared to Matthew 12:46-50} it was much later that two of Mary's other sons embraced the truth and they were allowed to partake in the written of the Bible though they weren't part of the Apostles, they are James and Jude, their books were included in the scriptures! Finally, marriage amongs the Jews were in two stages
1. bethrothal: which is the joining together of a male and a female in marriage (the main marriage ceremony). Bethrothal is NOT the same as engagement in our contemporary sense: it is the core of marriage itself.
2. consummation: which entail the release of the betrothed woman to her husband house by her father or guidian for sexual consummation of the marriage.

Amongst the poor, only the bethrothal is marked with eating and drinking. The consummation require just a blessing as she goes. Those who are financially okay will make another celebration out of this as a send off ceremony!

First if all, In the original text of the gospel, we find the Greek word adelphos, meaning brothers, used. However, adelphos does not just mean blood brothers born of the same parents. Rather, adelphos was used to describe brothers not born of the same parents, like a half-brother or step-brother. The word also described other relationships like cousins, nephews, uncles, etc.

Example: Gen 13:8 So Abram said to Lot, “Please let there be no contention between you and me, or between your herdsmen and my herdsmen. After all, we are brothers

Abraham and Lot are they brothers in the sense we use the word today? No! What they had was an Uncle and Nephew relationship.

Look at 1 chronicles 23:21-22 21 The sons of Merari; Mahli, and Mushi. The sons of Mahli; Eleazar, and Kish. 22And Eleazar died, and had no sons, but daughters: and their brethren the sons of Kish took them. 23The sons of Mushi; Mahli, and Eder, and Jeremoth, three.

In reality they married their cousins not blood sisters.

So brothers and sisters as seen in the scripture does not always refer to biological siblings

Can u tell me why Jesus would put Mary in the care of John beloved and not Mary's other children. To the extent that she followed John to his home. So she couldn't go n live with her other children?
