I learnt that many Nigerians are INVESTORS.

They like investing in things they don't understand. Just promise them 30% a month.
And they are easy to scam

You can actually outsmart those who are more powerful than you.
Ask DJ Switch.

Some of Robert Green's points are not applicable in extreme situations and places like Nigeria.
The more you submit to your oppressors, the more you're oppressed. Most times you fight the "powerful" oppressors, then you discover they only remain powerful as long as you remain a coward.

DJ Switch is currently a fugitive so she did not win any battle. Her friends at Lekki Toll Gate that night were just lowlife misfits serving a bigger invisible master they were too blind to see.

Don't give your directionless movement unnecessary glory. There's still Police brutality. Buhari won't even stand trial at ICC . The Gen Taiwo in charge of the Camp where the soldiers that Shot at Lekki came from has been promoted. Tinubu has strengthened his political alliance as he has proven to his friends from other regions that he didn't mastermind the protests as he lost his properties. Sanwo- Olu will still loot Lagos at least for the next three years.

1. Learnt that time waits for no one. As you're moving forward so are the rest of your mates. If you backslide or turn out poor, they all leave you. Nothing waits for anyone
2. Learnt to always mind my business. It pays 100%. Also learnt to avoid unnecessary drama that won't add shigbai to my account
3. Learnt that making the right choices affects my future. I hate regrets.
4. Learnt not to give a shit about what people think. Opinions are like asshole's. We all have one. The way people think about me should never affect my life.
5. Learnt that no one is loyal. No one is your friend. People follow the moving train. No one wants to be associated with a poor person.

Lastly learnt that most Nigerians are confirmed asslickers grin

If there is a year people won't forget it is definitely be this year. Many things happened from the pandemic to protest.
And Finally the hear is coming to an end.

Here are top lessons i was able to learn in 2020.

1. Life is unpredictable. You don't know what will befall you for the future is not within our locus of control . Anything can happen in life. I was suppose to graduate this year but the pandemic scattered everything.

2. Every disappointment is an opportunity to someone. While we were in the midst of Covid19 and alot lost their jobs, some people made more money than any other year.

2. Never trust people words but actions. People give empty promises. It doesn't matter even if they swear it is gibberish.

4. People are selfish. No one can truly love you except yourself. Anyone can betray you at anytime.

5. Those in authority almost always think they are above the law.

6. Never try to fight those who are more powerful than you or else they crush you. Never out shine your master as Robert Greene will put it.

7. Nothing spread faster than fear. People who are insecure will spread lies to make others fear.

8. We do everything in life to make us forget death. We keep ourselves busy with work, sports, movies etc for boredom reminds us of loneliness and death. This month of December was very scary for many people died and it made me think deeply about life.

9. Be careful with flaunting your wealth. People are envious of successful people. The more you showcase yourself the more some people resent you.

10. Blame shifting. People like to shift blame on others. Most people do not want to be blamed, so they their subordinates, the government , their spouse, family etc.

Law 46, the 48 laws of power

You didn't understand his point. He said never outshine your master not outsmart.

You can use submission as a criteria to mask your plan and infiltrate. You Can't go upfront just like the way protesters did and it turned to a blood bath.

Before you fight someone powerful, you have to know his weakness and has infiltrated him already.
There you can have an edge when you fight.

There are those above you that you can crush easily but their are those very powerful like the government and you can't crush them, you have to maneuver.

When you read that law to the reversal of the law you will understand vividly what he is talking about.

1. People ain't shit
2. Religious people are the worst people to do business with
3. Never say Never
4. The Government doesn't give a flying fvck about us.. More than 2 months after the lekki saga no one has been arrested. Neither has anything been done about our demands
5. Nigerians are not that smart.
6. God has left Nigeria

7. Only women, children, cats and dogs are loved unconditionally.. A man is only loved under the condition that he provides something.

And last but not the least.

If you are a guy and you don't have money.. No matter how handsome, tall, educated, fresh, eloquent you are, you are a NOBODY.

Extra: Once people know you as the forgiving type, you are doomed

Men can be loved unconditionally. The problem is most men act in such a way to attract people that only want them for what they can provide. For example, if they want a woman, they will spoil her with expensive gifts. They don't seek to know whether the woman wants they for who they are. And also, have you ever loved anyone unconditionally? You can't ask for what you can't give.

I learnt if you don't have money, you are a slave to the person that has.

whatever food the person wants to eat, that's what you'll eat

if the person is expecting a visitor, you must leave the house and roam about in the street
