They have to stop this abuse culture that is encouraged due to levels of classes in school, also they need to promote good behavior and help students with behavioral issues. .

This culture of impunity should be addressed in schools, ensure the seniors know there are consequences for bad behavoir, educate them about good behavior and bad behavior in society.

Listen to her first line, the school acted swiftly by releasing a statement suspending the principal and commenced investigation. I think that's the proper thing to do.

For the office of the governor to have taken over the case meant that's the end.

use the same energy when it happens to someone close to you, someone child was abused, and abuse that he'll suffer from for a really long time you're talking about it being settled when they haven't gotten to the root, that child will never be the same and I wonder many more cases are yet to come to light, they should get to the root and prevent it from ever happening

If they really took the activities that goes on in their schools seriously like the way they take tithing, building of churches and disturbing the peace of the neighborhood with their incessant preaching, seriously, would such nonsense be happening in the first place?

The school is open to the public, good bad and evil children enrol.
Some parents bring in ill mannered children, hoping the school to perform a miracle on them. Sometimes it happens, sometimes the kids corrupt other kids.

Stupid explanation. They know very well what is going on in that boarding (prison yard) but refused to tackle it until now.

I had to withdraw my son from the Navy secondary School in Calabar for this same reason. All of a sudden he became cold and avoiding everyone.He complains of sickness every time and looks emaciated. Whenever it is time to go back to boarding house(prison yard) he will be crying, a boy of 12 years. That was when I knew that something is definitely wrong somewhere even though he finds it extremely difficult to disclose it.

I had to write to the school management and months later withdrew him. He is very much ok and lively now and far more intelligent in a private institution than the concentration camp called boarding house.

Boarding school is a no no for me. It breads immorality such as homosexuals and lesbians like kilode.

I hope this does not end in a cover up. Because what happens next can have ramificaitons for the future of the church as a whole in Nigeria...not just the DLCF.

If the Church is not seen standing by the side of justice in this case, then what is the use of the Church in Nigeria?

For many years, the Churches in Europe and the US covered up abuse on their premises, and such abuse is a part of the reason why the church over there is in decline.

Anyway, right noises from the DLCF, and we hope that the investigation leads to genuine change. Enough is enough.
