Is it the 3gb ram experiencing that lag?

2gb ram variant, but the 3gb also uses the same mediatek helio p22 processor which is not just for serious modern multitasking.

They're most likely trying to forget 2020 which was a year of sparse major releases for them and try to be the first to get new releases for 2021 same as Samsung and OnePlus with their S series and 9mini/9/9 pro respectively, a clean slate if I may say.

Bro, don't you think charging your phone '...at any given opportunity' might pose some burden / stress to the battery?

Yes it's mostly likely possible, I'm considering changing charging strategy but I know how hard it is to charge if there's no light.

True, with the 6gb ram variant same price as Xiaomi redmi 9 4gb ram variant (#74k Vs #71k) but it loses in terms of screen resolution (720p Vs 1080p), battery (4000mAh Vs 5020mAh), charging speed (10watts Vs 18watts) but it comes which stock Android and a very good midrange processor with support for many apps and games (Snapdragon 665 Vs mediatek helio g80).

Well I guess that's why it's lagging though, am not saying 3gram won't lag even 6gb ram do lag a little but 2gb ram is not enough space

I don't think frequent charging poses any challenge to the battery. U can use power bank. But on a second thought like power bank affects the life cycle of ur battery, speaking from experience

Well, experiences vary.smiley Contrary to your own experience, some people even advise charging with power bank, because its power voltage is stable, unlike the erratic voltage we get from Naija's electricity. This might also explain the reason why some people use surge protector / voltage regulator, or something, while charging.
I do believe frequent charging and re-charging of phones may eventually impact negatively on the battery life, even the manufacturers have something they call battery charging cycle. It's just that, owing to the epileptic power supply we have in Naija, we're tempted to always charge our phones at the slightest chance.grin We can't help it.cheesy

Snapdragon chop is better, faster and more battery efficient.

Helio G80 has a faster GPU because it is a gaming chipset.
