luvmijeje:I can tell you that the issue most Nigerians have with the so called "government efforts" has nothing to do with religion. I personally who is a strong critique of the so called efforts doesn't give a hoot about crossover night or any religious activity for that matter, can't even recall the last time I went to church. The bigger issue here is that people's lives are being ruined over a virus that we are yet to see it's much acclaimed devastating effect in our climes. Do you know how many sources of income we're destroyed during the last lockdown? Now they are planning a fresh one while folks are yet to recover. What about university students that have already lost a whole year as it is? The nations they are copying like idiots we have seen the devastations over there, where is the devastation in Nigeria? They have good stimulus packages for their citizens. Our leaders are serial palliative looters. They have massive advanced economies built on top notch infrastructure and technology and will always bounce back, our economy is still largely informal, small, and simply battered. We will ground our already battered economy, killing off internal revenue generation for the country, then run off to IMF and other foreign bodies to beg for grants. You overrate your government dear. I can assure you that the "government efforts" you are defending here doesn't have you in positive consideration. 12 Likes 3 Shares |

, please let process the information carefully 1) Black Americans may eat a lot of Junk food 2) Junk food causes more diabetes, and diabetic are more prone to Corona virus. 3) Junk Food may also cause over weight depending on the persons metabolic rate, when one is over weight, and gets corona, the lungs have to do more work, which is more strain, and more risk of death. 4) Black Americans, may not take safe precautions, to keep themselves safe and would be exposed more to risk factors. 5) Black Americans are in a different environment. Africa is doing well, don't let them Bobo you, we are not confident in our selves, always looking out. African people have Strong genetics too. mika1123: 1 Like |

AdaugoChisom: My dear, ignorance is not always bliss. Do you know why life expectancy in 9ja is only 52 years (one of the lowest in the world? Aside poverty, ignorance and stigma attached to illness are the reasons. Because people do "Kogi style" to symptoms, lots of diseases are diagnosed too late. Don't you wonder why so many appeals for kidney problem treatment, even here on NL in the past few years? We can temporarily escape reality by turning a blind eye. But reality must overtake sooner or later. Uganda & Kenya took on HIV/AIDS ravaging those countries about 20 to 25 years ago and made commendable progress. Public education and sensitization played a big role. Bananas were used to teach use of condom across public and market squares and schools nationwide. You think Yahaya really cares if people are dying in Kogi? If people, they just bury or put in mortuaries. 90% won't have death certificates even. |

Just remember the lessons of this pandemic, it is that we should not have fear, and follow the safety measures, have the necessary medicines, such as vitamins, zinc, vitamin D, B and C, and magnesium, and never abuse vitamin drugs, or exceed the required limits. The best is natural foods, to boost immune system, from orange you get antioxidants, and the seeds of orange are even richer in multivitamins. You have palm oil for some vitamins too, You have lemon water good to kill the virus, in the throat, should be taken on three consecutive days, with maybe 3 days without, do not mix lemon with another fruit, so the efficacy of the lemon diluted in water or crushed, remains effective. You can also take ginger water, do not mix with any substance to retain its efficacy. Exercise moderately. mika1123: |

The government gets Aid from world bank, due to covid, , and they want people to go to crowded places to register for nin, and mobile phone numbers. Just don't live by fear, take every safe measure you can, don't allow the people pulling the strings to make you go into panic mode. |

Rgade: Have you reasoned that it's because of the last shut down that Nigeria is not like the UK or the America. Due to the failure of America refusal to shut down their economy within the span of 12 months they now have close to 20 million cases as of today. These are my questions. 1. If it takes America 12 months to get to 20 million, how long do think it will take for Nigeria to get to 20m? 2. Remember our public transportation is nothing to write home on, so how long will it take us to get to 20m? 3. Remember, Nigerians are lawless, so how long will take us to get to 20m? 3. Remember, our hospitals are nothing to write home on, so how long will it take us to get to 20m? 4. Remember, our markets is nothing to write on, so how long will it take us to get to 20m? 5. Above all, due to thinking like yours how long will it take us to get to 20m? Your selfishness will cost us all. 1 Like |

luvmijeje: ...And what proof do you have that we haven't gotten close to that number of infected/carrier cases?!! You think infected cases are only those who come down with severe symptoms?!! Are you testing anywhere close to the capacity of America and Europe?!! Please, don't flatter yourself. We contained nothing, are containing nothing, and will never be able to contain a damn thing... Forget the media grandstanding of NCDC. They have to justify their high wages. Ask yourself why state governors reneged on initial banning of crossover services... They knew the charade won't hold. A total shutdown didn't achieve anything with regards to containment of spread, as it was not adhered to by almost all Nigerians. It only worsened the financial health of most Nigerians... It went on to set the stage for Endsars crisis. Another one will be simply catastrophic. It's quite funny that it's largely the very affluent and privileged few that are calling for widespread restrictions and even lockdown. Your fear mongering will cost us even far more!!! Fact!!! 8 Likes |

luvmijeje: during the campaign rallies and end Sars protest, figures didn't rise...as soon as the figures in USA and Europe began to rise with the arrival of the vaccine, we followed suit. how come UK which followed the strictest of safety guidelines for 4 weeks in November has rising figures this month? my brother who works in a and e in a hospital in UK even told me that so many of this UK high figures are actually doctored just to make people go for the vaccine, every patient who died in his unit, they simply put covid 19 complicated death, there is a lot going on in the background that you and i have no clue about but it will surely be revealed soon...i won't say more than this. |
