Saudi Arabia has zero tolerance for drug trafficking.

When I went through the headline I initially thought the story was about a Nigerian facing death sentence on account of being caught engaging in drug trafficking in Saudi Arabia.

But on a closer look as I went through the post I got the details much clearer.

I think the Saudi authority should pardon the accused and free him to come back home to Nigeria.

18 years behind bars is no joke with a death penalty hanging over his head.

He has lost a lot of his productive years that would have contributed to a valued working life and a good family man.

The family of Sulaimon Olufemi who has been on death row for 18 years in Saudi Arabia over a mob action that resulted in the killing of a police officer is pleading for clemency, Igbere TV reports.
